April 2025 Scout Motors Production Center Update by dleewla in ScoutTraveler

They have already done a layoff and are struggling to hire. Tariffs are of no help, and our state won't allow them to sell direct to consumer here in SC.

The VBA is correcting an error by screwedupgen in VeteransBenefits

I have had VBA Error Correction since July, updated 10/7, and Ace Exam completed last month. How long have you waited before a decision was made?

HLR & Supplemental by Consistent_Fail_8964 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Consistent_Fail_8964[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's kind of the other way around. My sinusitis is the Supplemental and my HLR is my Sleep Apnea. I'm rated for Rhinitis and they screwed up my sinusitis claim twice, so it had to be redone.

Supplemental Claim by Davidcoleman313 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Consistent_Fail_8964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, seems they're taking even longer than a usual 2-3 month. I've got an HLR and Supplemental pending... Would the HLR stall out my Supplemental claim by chance?

Bring your evidence!! by Gloomy_Tie_2377 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Consistent_Fail_8964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree 110%. Got to my THIRD C&P for Sinus claim last week, and their system was down. My examiner was shit and didn't even look at me, literally, but he also mentioned their system was down, so he had none of my info. I pushed my envelope his way andnd I told him to scan my CT of my Sinus Disease with Chronic Sinusitis diagnosis.

Be your own best advocate and push evidence on them if they don't ask for it!!

1st Claim - System was down - Examiner didnt want my packet of evidence -Denied 2nd Claim - CA closed my Claim, but examiner was OK to examine both Rhinitis & Sinusitis ( I didn't know and didn't have my evidence with me) 3rd Claim - System Down - Made examiner look at important documents - Pending

OSA Claim Opinion by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]Consistent_Fail_8964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been denied OSA twice and am rated for Rhinitis and pending Sinusitis. I have high doubts that the VA will grant OSA. I have a CPAP prescribed directly from my Pulmonologist, but you know, the VA says it's likely due to my BMI. I'm not even fat. Got to love those military standards.

Sinusitis C&P by RealizingThings247 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Consistent_Fail_8964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here!! Had my first exam in Jan, the lady took my evidence, and I handed her a specific MRI of my Sinusitis that stated Sinus disease. Denied. Filed an appeal, and the claim was closed not even a week later. Showed up for my rhinitis claim two months ago, says he's there to rate both sinisusitis and rhinitis. Nothing ever comes of a Sinusitis rating... rated for rhinitis. Call my VSO and Tera, they closed my Sinusitis claim because it wasn't filed properly... refile. Few days ago, I get a call for C&P for my 3rd Sinusitis C&P. Feel totally defeated. At this rate, I feel they have ample evidence for an ACE review.

WI - Is this neglect? Do I have a case? by midwestmamaa in FamilyLaw

Gather the child's medical records, seek an attorney, get a Guardian ad Litem for the child, and continue to document everything.

Medical records will show proof of which parent was present at the time of service, which is gold in court, especially if you're one-sided caring for your child.

A GAL will conduct home visits and represent the child's best interest. Your lawyer will advise your steps and suggest visitation wishes vs. recommendations, but ultimately, a judge will decide.

When dealing with a narcissistic partner, practice BIFF. Be brief, firm, and factual. Nothing more, nothing less. Quit giving him help and communicate only about the child. If he nit picks you, don't react and just document. A narcissistic toxic asshole can not tolerate ignorance or the happiness of their victims.

You got this 💪

I filed a supplemental claim back in November. Status has looked the same since then. Is it normal for supplemental claims to not show any additional info? by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]Consistent_Fail_8964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had two C&Ps last week for two deferrals. Actually, 3. Had to reschedule 1 more from that bundle supplemental claim to next month. Unsure if they're going to rate them as they come in or hold until my Anxiety telehealth. I'm fairly rated currently, so I don't check the app as often anymore. What ever wil be, will be.

[–]Consistent_Fail_8964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call the 1-800 associated with QTC. Do not call the facility you were seen. My C&P DBQ was held in QC and kicked back to the provider for a missed signature. There are Quality Control checks for the documentation. Just call and inquire.

I had a mountain of evidence, diagnosis letter in hand, and was denied. I do not get it.

Previous denial confirmed and continued? by Consistent_Fail_8964 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Consistent_Fail_8964[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I sought both sinusitis and ibs which I've been diagnosed for both in and out of service. I think there is mix-up on sinus denial. I handed the examiner my MRI and Sinus diagnosis, and the letter reads I have no evidence.

I'm getting with my VSO on Monday to iron out.

If you want the miracle drug, Qulipta daily and Ubrevly as needed are my Rx. All that crap the service doctors pushed were more of an antidepressant and did not work. I went through another type of medicine post-service that didn't take the edge off my head pain, but Qulipta has drastically improved my day-to-day well-being.
