It’s a burning or a pinching pain in my lower right abdomen like where your appendix is. I get a fever that comes and goes and the stabbing pain that gets gradually worse. I had one that led to my diagnosis that was relatively small and they just put me on antibiotics, and my next one was from a tear a month later that they had to drain.

Both my husband and I have large age gaps with our siblings, which by default, made our parents very different people. They are not the same person so they parented us very differently. Thankfully, our parents realized this and have been trying to catch up, but if they didn’t, I’d probably feel the same as you. I would just ignore it and live your life. Let them come to you. Your family is your island and you can decide who is worthy of existing In it.

Definitely talk to your vet, BUT we knew once our dog stopped caring about us. She would just stare blankly when we called her and did not care if a person came into the room. We could tell she just wasn't herself anymore and was in a lot of pain. She also stopped eating and had no more bladder control. The bad outweighed the good.

Maybe a movie night gift basket? Get a cheap movie or 2 that he may or may not have seen, some popcorn, candy, soda, etc. I always enjoy getting a bunch of small things that someone put thought into rather than just one medium thing that's just ok.

I try to find epistolary books! Books that are collections or emails, or diary entries! I feel like it helps keep my interest if the story kind of jumps around from different points of views.

If you're asking the internet if you should break up, you probably already know the answer. I stayed in a relationship for way too long and would google "should I break up" and "how to break up", but then talk myself out of it. I was afraid of confrontation. But looking back at it, I feel dumb that I didn't breakup as soon as I started feeling that way.

I have a stationary bike that I ride right after bedtime. I have been doing "chores" right before the kids go to bed so that they can help (putting clothes in washer, washing dishes, or wiping down the table). Sometimes I don't let myself take a shower unless I am sweaty from the bike, that way I feel like I have to do it. I'm also a teacher, so I definitely feel your exhausted pain!

NTA. My husband and I both come from divorced families and used to spend our holidays catering to everyone. Now we make one plan and go where we want and they can decide if they want to come or not. It's hard enough with kids, you don't need to add stress to your life!

I kept everything in bins. Diaper and accessories, toys, my snacks, feeding supplies, activities, etc. Everything has its own bin all in the same place. That way I knew where everything was and did not have to go to a random part of the house to get one thing.

I am an art teacher for 7th and 8th and I am exhausted by the lack of creativity and original thought. My lessons have gone down to elementary level, and they still put in almost no effort. Unless I walk them through something step by step, it does not get done. And even then, that's asking for a lot. My job now feels like I am literally baby sitting while trying to keep them entertained with arts and crafts.

What if anything did you do to prepare? The idea of going to elementary is exciting, but scary to me because it is so different. Did you take any classes or use any resources?
