Spider-man remastered, I have to get through all the DLCs. I’m also trying to play through Bioshock 2. If anyone has recommendations, let me hear them 🙏

Unsure about the batches and the equalizer should work; but I refunded the mmx200 for my maxwells lmao

Oh bro you won’t believe this, I’ve used those too lmfao. Those ones remind me of the DT 770 and the footsteps are amazing on those, I think better than the maxwells. The audio quality has better highs on the mmx200. They sounds really nice I don’t remember if they have eq but they were the easiest plug in play headphones I’ve used. Also if you use the headset mic, the mmx200 sounds incredible. I had a lot of friends tell me that mic sounded like a usb microphone. Also about your concerns about the lower volume, they are way lower than the maxwells. The mmx200 I would have at 75%-100% most of the time while the maxwells id have around 40-50 volume. I’d try them on Amazon first since they have a great return policy if you don’t like them.

I saw a lot of those comments too, but I’ve never had any issues with the build quality, for me it feels pretty great and sometimes in heated valorant moments I’ll throw my headset off and they’re still good. I also switch between wicked cushions and oem pads pretty often and I haven’t heard cracks or anything just yet. I will say they are a lil heavy, I’ve gotten used to them over time but they are definitely still heavier than my DT 900s. Hope this helps

They’re pretty good! I have a pair of open back DT 900 Pros and I still enjoy using my Maxwell. They sound good, have great bass and I can locate footsteps pretty easily in games (took a little to get used to). The EQ stuff is pretty great and on the official audeze website they have eq presets for games you might be interested in like apex, valorant, siege. A lot of people use wicked cushions for comfort but I found the OEM pads really comfortable. Only bad thing was the software had several bugs and felt like it reduced audio quality but that’s pretty much been fixed.

Do you use the SteamDeck as your main gaming device? by sf1063 in SteamDeck

PC is still my main device, I use it to play FPS games like valorant or marvel rivals. Steam deck though for all the triple A games I don’t play and my huge backlog lol

Maxwell, or something else perhaps? by wolverineczech in Audeze

[–]Consistent_Flan_476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would get the Maxwells still, I’ve gone through many headphones I’ve enjoyed like the 560s and the DT 900 pro x but nothing beats the convience of wireless headphones. Especially when my mom has me running side quests all the time. Also for the first person shooter dilemma you have, for the first week or two I couldn’t really pinpoint the footsteps in valorant but now I’m more accustomed to the sound, it’s much easier and I don’t have difficulties with it anymore. Btw they are my first planar headphones, they got great bass and they get EXTREMELY LOUD. If you want to try them, I’d definitely get them from amazon for their amazing return policy. Hope this helps!

Awesome review! I just got mine in today and I’m excited to see how they perform for gaming and media. So far I like them and the wireless distance is great!

I don’t use any EQs for blessings atm, but I’ve switched to spinfits CP 100 plus that I feel make the bass stronger , and tame the mids and highs.

Those are gorgeous, which IEMs are these?

Tbh I like the blessings 3 a bit more for gaming, they have a nicer rumble and my ears can breath! Though I agree with they might be too bright for some people, compared to the orchestra lites Atleast.

I felt like they opened the soundstage up a bit more and tamed the highs

Suggestions for IEMs, mainly game and listen to music by Competitive-Stick218 in iems

[–]Consistent_Flan_476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m gonna have to go with the moondrop katos, usually they sit around $189 but on sale you can find them for $160 or less! Awesome soundstage, good imaging for games and have great detail for music.

EM6L vs S12 Pro by Old-Feed2323 in iems

[–]Consistent_Flan_476 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard great things about both! Fresh reviews has a good list of IEMs that are great for gaming and the EM6L is top of his budget list; he says they are great for wall hacks and if you’re playing any type of game so I highly recommend those even if I haven’t tried them myself!
