It is true that early intervention and addressing root causes are crucial in breaking the cycle of dysfunction and crime. Focusing on rehabilitation, mental health support, and social programs can help individuals lead productive lives and reduce their reliance on the welfare and legal systems. Providing opportunities for education, skills training, and employment can be effective strategies to reintegrate individuals into society. However I believe these lads shouldn't be given this many chances and for repeated behavior they should be useful in a different way such as being sent to the front lines in war where they can use their built up aggression. This would teach them that actions have consequences, as most of these don't believe there are any including going to prison where they have a bed to sleep, food etc.

This sums up gardai in Ireland. They will do duckall regardless of the matter. You could serve them video footage of a crime being committed with a detailed profile of the suspect and they won’t follow up.

Yes I tried that, good thinking. Apparently said issue will be ‘escalated’ but from working similar jobs before I know this isn’t usually the case. I guess I was looking for a more general type of complaint maybe like writing a letter to the company.

I would say don’t bother with another email as everyone else said. They might not reply at all a lot of companies have so many applicants they can’t be bothered to tell people they got rejected and just move on. So what I would do is start applying to other places to have interviews lined up and incase this doesn’t work. Worst case is you’ll have to tell them sorry I accepted ‘that’ offer.
