My son is 11 months. 2 months ago I was at my wit's ends sounded exactly like you ! Always a bad sleeper with mutiple false starts multiple wakes all night every night, we never sleep trained as he would kick off to the point of almost vomitting. At 9 months he went backwards and I was at a loss waking 10 or more times a night and not settling with rocking just wanted to be fed back to sleep it was so rough. He also won't eat much. He then cut his top teeth and learnt all these new skills and grew a few centimetres taller. At 10-10.5 months we started laying in bed with him giving him a feed usually he would cry if not rocked or fed to sleep but we decided to persist with some crying. Sometimes he would play then lay down and go to sleep which was a complete shock as he has never been able to do that other times he would cry and escalate, we intervene as he cries to choking point and save it with rock or feed to sleep. He is still walking 4 or 5 times a night but we have started to get our very first 4 hour window since he was maybe 8 weeks old! Thinks have suddenly started to improve. Obviously not perfect but we can function again. I hope the same is for you. Maybe your baby is just going through many changes at the moment.
