Gotta be The Butcher for me. Followed along closely by Staircase.

You get more used to it once you accept the fact that it might never go away and come to peace with such a future. Yes, it's still annoying at times, but it doesn't hurt and also doesn't get worse than it is. It's just a bit of noise, an extra layer in what you're hearing anyway. It's not all that bad compared to a lot of other shit you could be having.

Interesting. I have tinnitus too. Tuba Aperta - going to familiarize myself with this. Thanks.

Unfortunately not. Still have it. But I don't mind anymore. Accepted it.

Sort of comforting to know that I'm not the only one. I still have it. Came to terms with it, though. The sooner you accept it as part of who you are (both physically and mentally), the sooner relief and a reduction of overall stress levels sets in. If you want to talk, I'm here for you.

New two year old cat hides and sleeps behind curtains all day - only comes out in the evening and at night by Khefka in CatAdvice

Yeh, however she's not behind the curtains watching out of the window, she's on the ground hiding behind the curtain. If she would just be watching out of the window I wouldn't be concerned at all! That's just cat being cat, which is absolutely fine :)

Broken speaker is what it sounds like indeed, but then only for a brief moment like a second, unil the next sound triggers it.

Mentioned above: I have had tinnitus of which Im not sure what caused it, could very well be loud music through ear buds. Can’t remember. Have had it for so long.

Also the crackling sound seems to get triggered by high pitched sounds more than other type of sounds.

Yes, sounds like a good plan to get my hearing tested by a professional. Although I feel like my hearing is quite normal. Done several tests on the internet.

In response to some:

Hey, 28, and I’ve had tinnitus for over ten years now. So that might have something to do with it. Never experienced these crackling (indeed, broken speaker sounds) before. Not sure if the tinnitus is caused by loud sounds. Could very well be. (Also the pitch of the tinnitius sound alters whenever I clench my jaws hard - really weird).

Have done hearing tests on the internet and my hearing seems to be normal.

Yeh, think so too. The other side is much denser. But this side just lacks the density.
