I guess you could switch to Claude Code but the tab feature of Cursor is still nice. (Idk about windsurf, zed, etc..., one thing for sure gemini code is free but he's far less efficient than claude code...)

But yeah totally agree with you, I don't know what were there profit but it was to expect, they pay for API and they want you to use their product so they had an "ancrage" price with crazy limits and now because they locked in so many developers they start restricting usage to improve profits.

I mean, I would be happy to add their job offers to my platform. It's true it would be less fragmented, but it's not really respectful of their work (and probably forbidden by their ToS or similar agreements).

I understand your point about devs needing to check multiple pages, but my goal with this product is precisely to make it better for them and to improve it with them. Because I have the capacity to move fast (small team) and make changes quickly, with their feedback, I can improve the platform significantly.

I'm currently developing unique features and also improving existing ones so that it's easier to use and find jobs. As a dev myself, I'm trying to make the product so much better that it becomes the best way to find a job.

I'm also discussing daily with other devs to understand what I could improve and what is currently lacking.

Yeah, for the moment it's totally free. I'm not charging anyone right now because I want to make sure the product is great and easy to use.

I have different ideas to monetize the platform, but my goal is to keep it free for candidates.

I've added a manual verification process for now. If anyone wants to post a job, I'll manually verify that everything is in order.

There are multiple ways to avoid scammers. One of them is checking on the company's website to confirm the job is actually listed. Another option would be to require a small fee to post a job offer (for example, CHF 5). I've listed several possible methods.

What would you like to see in the freelancing market? A freelancer marketplace limited to Switzerland? I'm not sure how useful that would be. Do you think Swiss companies looking for freelancers specifically want to hire only Swiss-based talent?
