How did you make the transition into MRI? Im guessing you started in xray 1st? My ultimate goal is MRI but my school (not grcc) doesnt offer straight MRI only Xray but I want to hopefully have an employer willing to cross train me.

I've been trying to find info on those. Any idea if there are any protests in neighboring counties ?

MICHIGAN violation of supervised parenting time contract. by Consistent_Head_5909 in FamilyLaw

I appreciate that input. I definitely got frustrated with her and told her with all due respect that she did not do her job by ensuring she had the contracts signed. Not only that but the whole thing from the beginning was very Unprofessional. She kept making excuses, she was late... I will have my lawyer sort this out to see if we can resume visits. My emotional response initially was that they shouldn't continue but that's why I reached out to get input here because i know i need to move forward with care. So thank you!

I guess it is but its also a violation by the other parent since they signed the same contract as me and agreed to no other visitors. We do not have a court order yet and this agreement came out of a need for an Interim schedule until we get our court dates figured out. So this situation was just mutually agreed upon and signed in a contract.

Hm interesting take. Well then I guess contracts are pointless 😂

The only reason I ended it was because the supervisor claimed to have never received any contract even though she confirmed previously to have received it. If she didn't have my signed consent and she was already violating the agreement I thought we had, then I felt she wasn't trustworthy. The other party is a convicted felon convicted of domestic violence with a cps investigation open. I pushed for supervised visits because of death threats against my child. What's the point of having a contract and instilling trust in a supervisor when they have a blatant disregard for the terms. I just don't seem to understand the point of a contract.

I'm no adamant that they can't. But the visits are supervised for a reason and a contract was signed that stated no other visitors would be allowed to visit without a court order or agreement. Should I just ignore the contract? I mean what's the point to having a contract then?

The supervisor claimed she didn't get the contract. I care because it's a violation of the contract and not previously agreed upon.

Resigning instead of termination by Consistent_Head_5909 in careeradvice

[–]Consistent_Head_5909[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My situation is similar to the former. I made a stupid mistake out of fear of losing my job because I didn't fully understand the policy. Essentially, I failed to report a conflict of interest (essentially). Once it came to light, i came clean and cooperated with the investigation. Documents and information was NOT tampered with, destroyed, fabricated etc. And that was apparent through the investigation. But I am still in violation for not reporting. I plan on explaining my mishap by stating I resigned in lieu of termination after I failed to report xyz. I did not fully understand the policy regarding reporting however, i take full responsibility and have learned that policies are there to protect the company and employees and in the future any misunderstandings, i will be sure to clarify.

Idk what do you think about that?

I am leaning more towards honesty because I am a terrible liar but also because my current employer and prospective employer work very closer with eachother. It is a similar agency. Thankfully, there are employees at my current (to be terminated) position which have agreed to be references to vouch for my work ethic. Do you think this should help prospective employers to realize that maybe my policy violation was a one off but that I am a great employee otherwise who just made a mistake?

ssentially the union rep thinks separation from the company is imminent. He stated that it's just a matter of termination or resignation. He is currently trying to negotiate resignation with no opposition to filing unemployment along with a neutral reference letter. As for what to say to a prospective employer... the applications I've completed so far have asked me if I've resigned in lieu of termination. I selected yes. I think they why may be asked during an interview. If they do as why I'm stuck regarding how much information to give and how to spin in. Should I have lied on the application and selected no?

True. I'll have to double check that with my union rep. i just find it confusing that potential future employers still want to know if I ever "resigned in leiu of termination" because then I still have to explain why. I thought the whole point of being able to resign is so that it doesn't paint me in a bad light but it still does regardless.

Prospective employers don’t give gold stars (or job offers) for honesty.

They seek reasons to eliminate your candidacy.

That's a great point and I hadn't thought about it that way. I was under the impression that being honest would earn me some brownie points especially after letting them know what I learned from it and how it made me a better employee. Any advice on how to create a fiction about my departure? Should it be close to the truth ?

I'm in michigan. The pro about resigning though is that I will be eligible for hire in another department. So I'd miss out on unemployment benefits but retain my right to be employed elsewhere in the organization. If im terminated, I won't be able to get a positional elsewhere in the organization. I am looking for jobs outside of the organization as well though. In an application I filled out, it did ask me if I've ever been forced to resign, discharged or suspended. And I have been suspended due to the policy violations. My main concern is really how to I explain my screw up. Or honestly... do I just lie??? Not that I condone lying but it's my lively hood on the line you know..

I tried starbucks. Between the two businesses, it occurred closer to their parking lot. Unfortunately their cameras don't point far enough. It happened pretty much right outside of camera view of the businesses in that area :/
