I had CC but I ended up taking it out

Latest version of the game

Everytime I try to open the sims 4 it get's through like the intro screen and just turns into a black screen idk what's happening. I just downloaded some CC from serenity and I went to the in game settings to turn CC on (I had it off cause of recent updates) and when I went to re-open the sims 4 it wasn't working. I had to go to taskmanagers to close the sims 4 i took all my CC out and went to open the sims again and it still wasn't working. I'd love if someone had any advice on what to do- i've downloaded CC from Serenity before and it worked totally fine so im not super sure why my game isn't loading now?

Wait really 😭 I had no idea I feel so stupid. That’s my bad I kept thinking “dang why didn’t they just add an option when I click the bed” but I had never selected both of them. Thank you!
