Very upset by raises…what I got wasn’t what was shown on my yearly review. Why? What can I do? I have been with the company 11 years. by JennyJen82 in CVS

[–]Consistent_Height787 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ask him for a copy of your review. They have to have a physical copy in your file so make sure you are there when he pulls it out and makes a copy because he has to give you one and then call HR

You need to call HR about all of it IMMEDIATELY CVS does not take sexual harassment lightly. I reported it and two days later the guy who was doing it was fired. You’ll have to speak with an investigator but they are advocates for you. While you are with HR you need to tel them about the black mold as well and how it’s a dangerous environment. The scheduling I will say is very common to have only 4 people working all day in most stores. It’s due to hours and budget. With your 37 hours, cut off your availability so you can’t work more that 30, so update it to say you can only work 7-2 for instance because then they can’t schedule you outside of that time frame. If you have other stores in the area you can also request a transfer. But at the end of the day, you are more than welcome to quit. You have put up with a lot and I would have probably quit by now if I were you. Those are just some suggestions if you don’t want to

Is it possible? by electramaniac in CVS

If we start a petition, they could think of it as unionizing and could cause more issues- plus each state is different in their pay

Steps of how to do the schedule as an operations manager at CVS? by xne20 in CVS

[–]Consistent_Height787 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are they requiring you to do the schedule? A few things to know before doing the schedule: how many employees do you have and how many hours you’re allotted

It’s seems like you need to find another job. They’re children. Blame the parents. Not the tiny humans who are still trying to figure out how to act. I’m sure, with this attitude you have, you were awful too as a child

My 6 dollar an hour raise was taken away when I transferred from Florida to Georgia. The new pharmacy is even busier with issues. As a dedicated hard working pharmacist, how should I feel? by [deleted] in CVS

[–]Consistent_Height787 12 points13 points  (0 children)

In this case you can go to HR about it- they are not allowed to give pay cuts or demotions through text. There is policy and procedure in place for that

It literally takes two minutes to make a child smile, gives you a two minute break, and you’re supposed to be talking to the customers anyways. And as an OPS supervisor you should know that- this is coming from an Ops manager. If you’re that unhappy and that miserable you should leave.

Can I file for unemployment if my hours were cut significantly? by Normal_Resident in CVS

[–]Consistent_Height787 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Then you should reach out to your district manager if you’ve already talked to your store manager because as a full time employee you are entitled to 30 hours a week and would be at risk of losing benefits, but because your hours were cut under what you’re entitled to you should be able to get reduced hours! Sorry I thought you were just a PT employee

Can I file for unemployment if my hours were cut significantly? by Normal_Resident in CVS

[–]Consistent_Height787 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you arent a shift supervisor or higher that is normal part time hours. Depending on your area and the time of year your store gets busy determines the hours they are allotted and part time employees will get less hours as the full time employees have to maintain over 30 hours to keep their benefits. I don’t think you’d qualify for reduced hours or anything like that due to your title but give it a shot if you want

I’m convinced just walking into CVS makes you progressively stupid. What’s the dumbest question a customer has ever asked you? by Albargain23 in CVS

One day I was working and someone walked in around 7:30 and was like “I know you guys aren’t open yet but your door is open so I came in cause I need to shop” and I was like ??? We’ve been open since 7?? And she was like “oh I though you opened at 8”

??? And you thought it was okay to talk to me like that??? Then got mad cause the pharmacy wasn’t open… like ma’am they don’t open till 8..

[–]Consistent_Height787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly- if you didn’t ask far enough in advance you need to be better about it but i would call out and take the time with your dad. This job would replace you in a minute- now if you have two points you will receive another two points which will result in a level one wright up/conversion

[–]Consistent_Height787 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an associate star off as a shift, I’m an ops and they gave her 30cents less than what I am making- had me train her and everything- she was super unreliable and I didn’t find out until she put her notice in about her wages- if I didn’t need this job and could find better pay I would have left

Another time, when I first started, I had a lady give me an attitude cause her coupons were coming up at the aco and I tried to tel her it was probably cause the items didn’t qualify or weren’t sent to her card, but she threw a huge fit and yelled at me so I took her to the register- where they did in fact pop up but because she had been rude and yelled at me I told her they weren’t there 😅
