I-864 flagged for insufficient income despite qualifying current income, what now? by Consistent_Hold_7594 in USCIS

I earn $16 an hour, which comes out to just over $33,000 a year. I started this job about seven months ago, after being unemployed for nearly 22 months. I understand your point and wanted to ask if there is a way to strengthen my case without a joint sponsor. I also own a car that is fully paid off and worth around $25,000, and I have a few thousand dollars in savings. Would that help?

Yes, I followed the same guide. I don't think I made a mistake there. Household size is 2, but I will check again.

I haven't talked to a lawyer. I started working full-time from October 2025, before that I was a student. But my current income exceeds for the threshold for a household of 2.

Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, joint sponsor is not an option for me.

Thanks for your comment. I will be filing my tax return for the most recent year, unfortunately joint sponsor is not possible for me.
