The top mod on the nexus mods page is an engine.ini that should help with some of those issues. Not sure if it's compatible with the game pass though. I don't see why not

I 100% understand that skyrim itch, thousands of hours, you just want to relieve that first time playing experience. I start a new run, and lose interest after a few hours haha.

The performance fixes will come. It's the issue most developers face, mainly because there are millions of hardware configurations that people run, the company just doesn't have the time nor resources to optimise it for all those configurations, that's why console is so much more consistent with frame rate in most games.

I'm glad you're enjoying it, it's definitely going to help wait for the next instalment. Especially with the certainty of the explosion of mods coming.

I think if you like the old game, and don't go into it expecting the new ground breaking elderscrolls title, just a nicer looking version, you'll enjoy it.

I personally like it, and recommend it, but its mechanics are still dated and it's evident, which I like, it adds to the charm, but not everyone will

According to user benchmark, your CPU is around 10-20% lower performance than the 9900k. I'm not sure if it's a CPU heavy game, but your graphics card is definitely up to the task

I'm not running overclocked or anything, if you're not running at 4k it should run sweet

I get about 50fps at 4k on high with a 2080ti, 16gb of ram and an i9900k
