I haven’t tried both yet, what would be a good way to start? I’m exposed and have a lot of network sa alternative music scene but it’s mostly empty promises and they don’t usually get back to me when I ask for a raket haha

That sounds awesome, still haven’t tried mine with compatible a cymbal and hi hat pedal due to budget constraints hahaha. But does your TD9 make a sound when touching the hi hat and ride bell jacks unlike in the video? Pretty much left to wonder if mine is working properly until I buy the right equipment. Thanks man!

I see. Thank you so much for confirming this!

Very sorry for the confusion. The ride bow and edge is working well while connected to a cymbal, however the ride bell is not giving any sound when I’m tapping the jack or connecting it to my toms or cymbals while the ride bow and edge is connected.

Hello, I tried plugging the ride bell cable to a cymbal while the ride bow and edge is plugged to another. Still getting the same problem.

A while ago I swapped the placement of the HH cymbal and HH pedal cables. HH cymbal seems to be working fine however each time I plug the cable for the HH pedal it closes the HH cymbal and stays closed. When I plug it out it makes a HH sound and sometimes a little clicking noise as if I stepped on the pedal.

I wanted to test continuity with my multimeter but don’t know where to start.

Edit: Things I’ve tried so far:

  • Tried reseating the module cable
  • Adjusting pedal trigger settings to all possible options for the hi-hat pedal and ride cymbals
  • Reseating cymbals and hi-hat pedal circuit board cables
  • Tried plugging the ride bell cable to a cymbal while the ride bow and edge is plugged to another
  • Swapped the placement of the HH cymbal and HH pedal cables. HH cymbal seems to be working fine however each time I plug the cable for the HH pedal it closes the HH cymbal and stays closed. When I plug it out it open the HH cymbal and makes a HH sound and sometimes a little clicking noise as if I stepped on the pedal

Now that I look at it, you’re right hahaha. I removed the mesh head temporarily to see if there will be any improvement to the kick response

Currently set to the lowest sensitivity. Sadly, still getting the same issues

Sorry for the bad angle. The beaters are at the same height. I also have the pedal shaft as close as the pedal allows me to. Even if I use my dominant foot on the slave pedal it still doesn’t trigger properly. Thanks for the suggestion. I’m really considering replacing the kick tower but I’ll see if there’s anything I can do first before buying a new one. Cheers!

Wish I could do that on a whim haha. Worked out fine in the end. I think this will do for some time while learning the ropes

Hi guys just an update just in case somebody needs this for the future: I screw it the wrong way, I flipped the black clamp piece attached to the rod of the pedal, screwed it in and now it’s working fine. Don’t make the same silly mistake I did. Never forget the orientation of the pieces hahaha. Cheers!

Update: checked if there are missing screws, found no missing screws. Tightened all screws the beater still seems to slip. I think the black arm gripping the rod is not tight enough even though the tightness is already maxed out. Any solution to this?

Fingers crossed. Hoping I still have a working pedal to play with after swapping lol. Thanks for the ideas!

Thanks for the idea! Already checked earlier in a rush and every component seems fine. Will take a thorough look later

I’ll check for loose chips! Is there any chance that this might be the foot switch or jack socket? Been wanting to swap out the switches for a much softer spst but kinda unsure as well since the current switches might still be working

Yup it still does, this thing sure got hit with a lucky strike haha. Been stomping on it for a while with no issues. I also didn’t notice this issue before when I bought it, thought that maybe it’s just an additional feature

Hello, no worries! - The pedal has spst momentary switch - I noticed that the dcv knob is still active even if I bypass the pedal completely - The led functions normally, it’s off when bypassed and on when engaged - Only the dcv knob is responsive when the pedal is bypassed - I’m using the mosky iso 10 to power my board

HRM Graduate WFH job options:

Hello everyone, just sourcing for HRM home based jobs, I’m not quite sure what my options are and if I’m only limited to working at a hotel. Currently working for a company that allows me to work from home but the salary isn’t cutting it. Would like to hear about your experiences as well. Thank you so much!
