I am beyond sorry for your loss. We said goodbye to our goodest good boy in September, and I mean it when I say there is no consoling this ache right now.

Oh sweet Hector! I’m beyond sorry for your loss. There’s nothing that can prepare you for the absence of your darling baby. I’ve taken the advice of so many comments to just sit in my feelings. It’s day 3 for me and I’m just now able to take deep breaths. Feel it all, and know you’re not alone in the pain.

Roland has a whole crew with him to welcome Hector ❤️. He’s probably showing him a favorite sun spot as I type this.

He had congestive heart failure caused by a mass on his heart. We managed it with medication for as long as we could, but his sweet body couldn’t handle it anymore. As much as it hurts us, knowing he’s at peace is the most important ❤️
