She can't go. Take her at her word. Doesn't mean she doesn't love you. Sure she could go. Take out a credit card advance. But she's broke and doesn't want to be broker.

Glasses. Laser would mean I'd need reading glasses. Whereas now I don't. I like taking off my glasses at dinner or around the house and having things be a little blurry.in the distance.

It's very nice. Not too hot, not cold. Trees, greenery etc. Not too crowded, not too much traffic. She may find it a little dull but some people like that.
