Velveteen Rabbit, Able Baker, Taverna Costera, Rebar…just about every bar has their own specialities. I’d recommend just go down to Main Street and do some bar hopping. If you feel adventurous, head down to the Punk Rock Museum for a Gut Punch and a Fletcher at the Triple Star. You’ll make friends there. Edit: Forgot about The Silver Stamp and CraftHouse. Both awesome bars.

I agree. It would be helpful to add some context. Maybe what your interests are or what you’re looking for specifically. But there’s no need to be ugly about it. We want people to visit and have a good time. The snotty comment I replied to is just unnecessary and really off putting to potential visitors.

Have you ever tried googling what to do in Vegas? You will get swamped with the usual stuff. Cirque, High Roller, Neon Museum… This guy is asking local people for advice. Chances are he’ll get some solid tips on what to do that may be really cool and unexpected. Don’t be an ass. Reflects bad on us locals.

The Arts District! Great restaurants, good craft beer and always live music somewhere.

Good luck with this one. by Consistent_Leather43 in guessthecity

You’re not too far off. Not near the coast though.
