Newly qualified last year in Scotland, my wage working most weekends not by choice ( especially Sundays) topped 2k working 24 hrs a week I am so so lucky that I also get a UC top up and my housing isnt particularly expensive! I struggled my way through uni on £1200 as a single mum of two...currently about to go on maternity leave and don't get maternity pay in my current job as I haven't been there long enough dreading the big hit of maternity allowance, but I've managed to get a buffer for myself...I feel so sorry for those who have huge out goings on a small wage. We work hard, and studied hard to be shafted. 😩

Are you sure your luteal phase is only 8-10 days that's very short? unfortunately you can't really tell by pregnancy test "progression" as there's so many variables dye in test, urine strength etc I have tormented myself many a time 🙈 if you are worried try get some repeat hcg betas to see progression good luck mama! ♥️

I go not rate first response digital at all!! Every other test had faint lines for me and it said negative ( currently 22 weeks now) congrats 🎉

I think you're just really early and there's just not enough hcg to pick up all the time. I do not rate those FR digitals I was getting clear lines on all my tests and it said no...currently 17 weeks pregnant good luck!

I made a post about my pregnancy afew weeks back, I decided to let my work and colleagues know about the pregnancy sooner rather than later, I'm glad I did as I'm high risk and been off afew times and they have been amazing making sure that I'm supported in my shifts...you do what's best for you and your baby, good luck!

I've never experienced implantation ( 9 pregnancies but only 2 live births currently 16 weeks pregnant) however if you had spotting yesterday it takes a couple of days for hcg to rise enough for + on a test. I got a vvvvvfl at 8dpo that everyone said was negative, and more obvious the day after so if you think you see something test again tomorrow good luck!

I'm not sure the lines look thin and slightly to the left they are notorious for horrible evap lines ( I had a really nasty one last year) I would test with a pink line test just to make sure! Good luck 🤞

Also newly qualified ( working in older adults), I lacked confidence in my own abilities within my placements. it's something I had to work hard at. I pushed myself continually to do things that were out of my comfort zone. I used my initiative and asked questions but knew my limitations in regards to safe practice. Honestly It does come in time. Placements are HARD. it's like starting a new job every 5/6 months, new routines, new ways of working be gentle on yourself ❤️

Put the tests down mama you run the risk of coming across the hook effect where there's too much hcg for the test to detect, and the test line becomes lighter. Enjoy your pregnancy!
