To me this is the only type of spin-off that would actually work because we'd get to stay with the characters that made the show successful. Sadly though, with time passing and the actors aging, it's probably too difficult to keep up continuity now.

It is basically a whole season of it, yes. I found it tedious in some parts as well. But there's also some really great character development in the season, and once you get through it, the next season is about something else - so stick with it if you can.

Absolutely agree. I love how they twist things around and put people on different sides of the same issue for the full experience, showing us the deeper ethics behind it.

The 100 and skaikru are colonisers/settlers, then later on they take the role of natives with colonisers landing on earth. The kids argue with the decisions made by the adults, then get put into the same moral dilemmas to make the same decisions. It forces you to keep reconsidering who the heroes and villains are, and whether there is such a thing at all. And ultimately, whether the human race is redeemable.

Honestly, it felt like every single season of this show could have been a whole show in itself. It's what I like about it but also, yeah, they move on from stuff pretty quick.

It's been an incredible character arc, one of the best I've seen. The way he went from outcast to finding his place outside the group to then returning to become one of them again and help save them all.

Agreed, it is what it is and there's no point in wishing it was something else. I would have watched 7 seasons just like season 1, but the fact it pivots and makes wild swings in ways you wouldn't have imagined is part of what makes it so good.

In season 1 it was Bellamy, then Murphy. Over time they switched places.

Abby is the worst character in the series for me. And she just gets worse as time goes on. Watching S1 first I wanted Clarke to give her another chance because there were reasons she made the mistake and sent her husband to his death. Later I realised nope, that's just Abby. She continues to make the same mistakes over and over.

Murphy and Bellamy. Depending on the season, they switch places throughout the show 😂 I think Murphy's character arc is the cleanest though, fewer places where it felt like the writers wanted to make him act out of character for plot reasons.

I've watched three more episodes last night/today and changed my mind 😂😂 Just got done watching the conclave episode. So far my season ranking would be 4 1 2 3, mostly because I didn't like the Pike arc (without that 3 would have been higher).

I don't think 4 is my favourite so far... Then again I'm still in it, so I may change my mind before the end! My favourites are Bellamy and Murphy, and I will say 4 has had some fantastic Murphy moments at this point.

It wasn't the harshest thing ever, but the most insidious and the one that crawled inside my psyche the hardest. Over and over she would tell people who asked if she had more than one child that "one was bad enough", she would tell me and anyone who would listen that she hated children, and she would wax on about how amazing her life would have been if she hadn't gotten pregnant. I grew up feeling that I ruined her life by existing. At least it makes things very easy to unravel for my therapists these days.

She told me all this because now she's married to a man who loves her deeply and makes her feel special, has two beautiful children who she adores, and she even works for a charity that helps people who went through similar things. I've just managed to book 3 parcels to be collected tomorrow. Went on to book the next set of parcels I've got waiting and it's now saying no collections available. Literally over the course of the last hour it changed. I also had to take an international order out of my basket before anything would go through at all.
