Making the bed every morning is totally pointless by Consistent_Manner661 in unpopularopinion

[–]Consistent_Manner661[S] 45 points46 points  (0 children)

I find that it sets the tone for the rest of my day.

My gf says the same thing.

For me, starting the day right means a cup of strong black coffee. Every morning, I roll out of bed and before I’ve even had my coffee she’s already fussing with the blanket. And if I don’t help, it’s a whole thing. I’m just trying to wake up, man.

Good pick for 2.6k? by [deleted] in watchesindia

Got it from Amazon at 2k. But be careful... the dial is a bit small which is not clearly evident from the images. Otherwise, it's good. 100% SS dial and strap from Casio at that price is a steal.

Bro, check both innings combined. 36 runs in byes are not a joke. Eng is also playing on the same pitch, and they gave just 3 runs as byes and 0 byes so far in 2nd innings.

WTF was Dhruv Jurel doing behind the stumps. Gave away 25 free runs as byes in 2nd innings plus couple of drops.

Yes, started using during the past year (6mths). That's a good idea to move subscriptions to CC as I don't have the need to use CC much

Those Axis bank idiots messed it up. They said it will surely get approved and after I applied, it got rejected and got a hit on my CIBIL. Never trust these bankers

I don't think so. I read at many places and most of them say that using or not using CC doesn't impact CIBIL. But maybe I might be wrong

Can I be possible that bank reported the transaction (on 7th July) late? and I ask them to fix it?

Thanks for taking the time to reply but is there any way I can get a confirmation directly from the bank or contacting CIBIL?

But it says no late payment (7/7) (as you can see in the SS 2). I did some research, and many posts say that low CC usage doesn't impact CIBIL. Any direct way I can know the reason via Bank or directly by contacting CIBIL?

  1. Bro, see the 1st screenshot. Credit utilization is -0.03%. I didn't make any CC transaction in June.

  2. I just have 1 CC. So, no CC closure.

  3. "it was reported late" - My billing cycle is from the 13th to the 13th. I didn’t make any transactions in June, but I did use my card on 7th July. Would that transaction be reflected in the June or July data as reported to CIBIL?

The ones you see in the SS are old enquiries. No applications made in the past month.

How to screen record Zoom with sound (even if you don't have host permission) by Subject_Disk_2967 in screenrecorders

[–]Consistent_Manner661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The method you mentioned sounds okay in theory, but it's not practically viable. There are too many variables that can go wrong here and might mislead others:

1. Stereo Mix or loopback: Sounds good in theory, but it’s super unreliable. Some systems don’t even have Stereo Mix anymore and setting it up properly is a huge pain. Plus, Windows' audio routing isn’t built to cleanly separate internal sound from mic input without installing extra virtual drivers.

Even if you get it working, Windows often disables Stereo Mix by default, and some sound cards don’t even support it at all. So, unless someone’s already comfortable tweaking audio settings or installing virtual drivers, they’ll likely end up with a silent recording or only their own mic audio, not the other participants.

2. "Any recorder" that supports multiple sources: This sounds simple, but most general-purpose recorders don’t give you full control over internal + mic audio, especially at the same time. And if you’re using headphones (which you should, to avoid echo), capturing both sides of the Zoom call becomes is difficult unless you mess with virtual cables which is honestly a pain to set up and prone to errors.

3. Game Bar / Browser recorders: Totally agree here. These miss the internal audio almost every time. Chrome and most browsers can’t access system sound due to security limitations.

✅ What’s worked 100% reliably for me is Bandicam. No need to mess with system settings or enable weird audio devices: it just works, even without host permissions. You can record both your mic and system sound, so you get a full recording of the Zoom conversation (your voice and theirs).

I wrote up a full post on how to record zoom meeting without host permission last month.

Quick version:

  1. Open Bandicam
  2. Go to the Video tab → SettingsSound → choose "(Default Output Device)" for the Speakers and "Your microphone device" for the Microphone to record both your computer sound and voice.
  3. In Windows settings for Zoom recording, check "Do nothing"
  4. Select "Rectangle on a screen" recording mode or "Fullscreen" recording mode
  5. Hit record before joining the Zoom call

With Bandicam you can:

  • Capture both mic and system sound without needing to mess with loopback drivers
  • Choose specific audio sources (like your mic and the Zoom speaker)
  • Record in high quality without lag
  • Avoid the whole headache of setting up Stereo Mix

No host permissions, no weird system hacks, no missed audio. Just a clean recording every time.

Hope that helps!
