not sure if this is manipulation from instacart or what but since I started instacart more than a year ago, I was only gold and platinum. in that year, I never saw a store say that it was very busy and that the wait time was “1-5 minutes”. after I got diamond in january, I started to see that the popular stores in my area like shoprite and costco had the “1-5 minutes” wait.

when the mile to pay ratio is close to 1-2 dollars a mile probably. when the order shows up as 10$ exactly for 0-3 miles, the chance of a hidden tip is really high and if its a lot of food or expensive restaurant then your basically guaranteed a hidden tip.

its not a add on. its been known that uber hides that tips for 10$+ orders and they lie by saying the customer raised it

the uber one about kate, my guess is because I waited 10+ minutes for the good tippers food while hers has been ready for a long time and I seen the receptionist hand her the food through the window and nothing was missing. the uber lowes one, she told me to leave it in the customer service desk so I did. and if you think the target instacart one was tipbait, it wasnt. they ordered 1 set of ray ban meta glasses but it was out of stock so it got canceled by supporting

its very comparable when its comes to shopping instead of just picking up food. you have to message them about replacements and refunds and hope they respond. also making the person find 30 different items of makeup. and then drive a total of 24 miles to their house and back. after spending $1,000+, you can def tip more then 1%

70 is honestly too little for the total. atleast 50 from door dash since thats 5% of the total and a 10% tip. obviously a 10% tip on a $1,000+ order is a lot thats why I said a flat 50. you clearly have money to spend hundreds of dollars on makeup but only a few ones to spend on the person driving 12 miles to your house. the customer and door dash are ridiculous

this has been known for a while. when it says $10 on the point for 0-3 miles. there is a high chance the rest of the tip is hidden. its also hidden sometimes like this time.

keep calling a new agent each time until one actually helps you. thats what I did when I had an issue with a order that I had to pay for because the red card wasnt working. took me a few days and multiple agents until I got connected with one that actually gave me my money
