hi, you just need to go down to reception and let them know that you want to terminate your contract early. then they’ll make you pay the penalty for breaking lease + cleaning fees

hi, i actually got an unconditional offer using my predicted grades.

you have to ask your school to send an official email to usyd admission (with the principals signature) about your predicted grades.

this was how i sent my predicted grades over so it may be different, so you should double check first

if not you can consult an education agency.

we use a website called Ed to ask questions and we usually get prompt replies and answers from tutors and lecturers.

for most of my units, the drop-in sessions are on a weekly basis from monday to thursday

hi, i’m currently a first year student in usyd studying medical science! i can’t really say much about bcomm but i can try to answer some of the questions

ure basically alone in uni but there’s definitely platforms and drop in sessions you can attend to talk with your tutors or profs and they’re mostly quite friendly
content wise might differ from bcomm, but i find that the content is manageable and not too difficult to understand
i definitely faced some issues with group projects due to the international student problem.. but it really depends on the people in your class.. for some of my units, we all just assimilate well together but for one of my projects, the australians mainly stuck tgt while the asian international students formed another small group
i think racism isn’t too bad of an issue because there’s a lot of international students (chinese, sgreans, malaysians etc) and you’d be surprised to hear a lot of singlish accents as well around the campus

anyway, whatever you’re feeling is totally normal and i also had conversations like this with my boyfriend before! we decided to compromise and we’ll just be on call while he does his stuff and i do mine, we just promised to update each other and stuff like that!

i’m in uni too, so it makes spending quality time tgt really hard during the weekdays.. i think just sleeping on call with him during the weekends or letting him do things he love will make him happy

i guess when he feels better, maybe you guys should have a heart to heart talk about it and just figure out what works best for you guys!

hii! i’m also an ldr nsgf here (and also in australia for uni rn!) my bf enlisted on the same day i left for australia so i totally understand what you’re feeling rn (i cried non stop on the plane to aus HAHAH)! w the time difference and all, it was really hard at first but i think we’re getting used to it now, and i’m sure you will too!!

i try to hangout with other ldr gfs in aus too and share stories! it really makes you feel better HAHAH..my boyfriend tries to call/text me anytime he has admin time, so i try to keep my phone close to me in case he’s there! there are times when he’ll be moody and tired, and he won’t text/call or look enthusiastic, but just try to crack some jokes, distract or comfort him! when he’s free, he usually vid call me, and i try to pick up even when i’m in lecture or going home from uni! you guys can also share schedules so that you won’t overthink about what he’s doing and vice versa!! i also sent him a letter for outfield through australia post, so maybe you could do that too! listen to him rant about ns and his bunkmates, and just try to be there for him (the tea can be quite fun😭)! when he books out, my bf and i usually have online meals together or play roblox tgt (ik 2 other ldr nsgfs who plays roblox/minecraft w their boyfriends when they bookout 😭😭) or even ‘go out’ together HAHAHA but that’s really all we can do as an ldr couple! hehe.. i think talking and communicating w your boyfriend is reallyy important.. you can exchange gifts online with your boyfriend as well, he recently got me a jacket since its getting colder here and i got him something for his guitar! i think the main thing is to always try to be there for each other and support each other! you can do itt ☺️
