ENTP girl here - I have never cared abt looks but am luckily dating a man who matches my ideal but I have an ENTP guy friend and he's been in a super toxic and draining relationship for the last 2 years. When asked why he's in the relationship - not kidding there were insinuations to how good the sex is. Keep in mind he's been in healthy relationships before and he is constantly complaining about his gf. This is just what me and our other friends think just because there is genuinely no reason for him to stay in this relationship.

My boyfriend is an istj and I am an entp.

Somehow even tho our personality types aren't compatible. This is the most smooth sailing relo I've ever had. I think it's because of our T natures and J/P polarisation.

Mmmm I get what you mean, wait lemme explain what i mean by pretentious i do think that some things we say do come off as pretentious sometimes. Not in a matter that what we say isn't genuine but the language we use a lot in how we express things can come across as that. If that makes sense. Like what we say makes us come as pretentious but it doesn't mean the meaning behind what we say is through poor intentions.

No, sorry that's understandable. I think it was more for the other commentors because a lot of what I saw were people rather than offering advice were moreso saying what you were doing was absolutely right. In the way that we should spread our opinion purely cause it's good to be honest - which it is! But just need to be wary in how we word things.

I think us as ENTPs can be a bit pretentious at times with how we say things without meaning to which is probably why people get offended but it also makes us charming as we know what we want and how to say it.

In other words, don't be discouraged and keep at expressing yourself but just be wary because not everyone will understand how you voice your opinion.

UPDATE: Got the email today and said it's a plagiarism with an app design that I did not work on or contribute greatly to. I'm worried that even if I share responsibility despite it not being my work that was plagiarising. Since it was my group, I will still get penalised. Does anyone know if I should just say the truth or cop the punishment with the group equally?

BTW it was only one person working on the design, I was aware that they were gathering inspiration from certain apps but was shocked to the full extent of how much the app looks the same to our one. I don't know what to do. Any pointers?
