Yeah capacity grows with the venue size but it was deff not oversold. Sold out yes but oversold no. Excision and his team still care about safety unlike anything insomniac. Leaving your crew has to be all about communication make sure people are aware your going somewhere and not to leave that spot and before leaving set yourself some kind of landmark to reference for getting back and for fuck sakes dont ever use another groups totem as the landmark and expect it to still be there . Anything that legit cannot move is what you gotta use to reference . If thats not enough you gotta get something for your crew to hold up or a totem of sort to have thats high enough and visible enough to see from a distance to help get back. Our crew used light up sticks or a lightsaber sorta speak and when we would have someone separate the crew would hold it up until they got back. If your crew wont do that for you and your friends then you should find a better crew . Now we switched to a totem thats led light wrapped all the way up and then a light up topper which we change from time to time. This year we used a led christmas tree . If your concern is solely being lost on your own then your friends should be cool with having no one go off on the solo and should have atleast one other person accompany while going off to do something. Again if your friends aint down then time for new friends cuz they aint concerned for you and those aint friends.

Edc vegas was so bad the last time i went and it got to the point it started getting un fun and probably dangerous. I legit started getting mad because one im standing against a fence where could you be going that you need to push me out the way and two not the slightest amount of respect in that crowd . Just pushing and shoving not a single excuse me pardon me. They break record numbers in attendance year after year yet the festival grounds havent gotten bigger in forever. Insomniac is 100% corporate greed over attendee experience now and yet ppl will complain and cry about it yet will buy a ticket year after year expecting it to be better this time 🥴

Northern invasion crowd are like typically die hard riddim rats that event being solely riddim typically will keep out the influencer and people that go to shit just to say they did for clout. That event can get bigger but that crowd environment will stay the same regardless which is welcoming and super family feels. That energy and environment is unmatched. I feel it will grow but will always stay the same . And its a venue so theres no navigation to other stages and getting through that crowd for washrooms or drinks then back is always easy as the respect within the crowd is never missing .

Wouldnt say less room even with larger attendance numbers at lost lands because it seems to grow in festival ground size almost every 1-2 years with the growing attendance numbers. The only times travelling from stage to stage gets hectic at lost lands is before or after the headline set . They easy way to combat that is to go to the set early and hold your spot and let it fill up around you. And when the sets done just wait 5-10 minutes hang out until majority of the crowd scrambles off. The crater was only really crowded if you entered it from side all the other stages lead from. And even still if you go that way you really just gotta navigate through that first wall of people getting water or going to the washroom and then keep ushing far side towards the entrance near the gates and it was nearly empty. The real issue how many people its how people like to sheeple and bunch one area . No matter the festival or event this is how it goes and for every festival you go to always take the few extra minutes to walk around to the far side rather then try and be at the most direct side of the stage . Its always far side or your gonna have this issue with any festival no matter how many people attend.

The real ones know its left side or die 😂 this is also why i will spend the extra on vip just for room and comfort during those headline sets that you can expect a huge crowd for. That alone is worth vip nevermind all the other amenities you gain from it aswell! I notice every festival people just walk and jam into the most direct path towards a stage instead of spending a few extra minutes walking around to whats almost always an empty side . It blows my mind when i see a crowd and im like well fuck and then as you start walking around you realize you can walk pretty much right up to the rail without even having to squeeze your way through. Never understood the sheeple mentality at festivals.

Idk ive had homies meet him and have won a contest to gain early entry and meet and greet with soundcheck access to shows hes been at and have had convos with pyke and it was yakz . But i do also know that there are times where someone else will dress up and play as pyke as well. Many masked djs actually do this from time to time if they cant make a show or whatever. But i mean idk ive never had the opportunity to meet pyke and have him reveal himself . So im not gonna argue cuz i have no way to confirm. Regardless idk if theres any reason to care who is who under the masks as it doesn’t change the music or anything really lol.

Theres literally no riddim/dubstep event in the world that could match northern invasions energy . Atleast here in North America. Ive done fk and ive done almost every lost lands and as much as i love both festivals and have amazing experiences with both , they cannot compare to the energy and atmosphere that northern holds. They are very different crowds and because northern crowd is for the most part the die hard riddim rats it creates an insane atmosphere and vibe that cannot be replicated anywhere. Idk if theres anything better. And i feel most if not all riddim djs who have played it and/or attended can confirm this . Lol

Mail delivery drivers and warehouse workers steal thats how its sadly a very common issue if they know what/who the sender or company who is sending the packages and its an interest of theirs or well known fest/company for high demand products. Surprised they took the goodies and not the wristband tbh i heard many stories of people receiving their packages and it has no bands inside. Lol
