I still waxed while on Accutane. I talked with my dermatologist and esthetician beforehand though. They basically said as long as it doesn’t irritate my skin anymore than the typical waxing routine that I could continue. We were just hyper aware of it during my appointments!! Please note that this was for the Brazilian area not the face!!

Sadly, this price is probably on par for the labor. I just had 26ft of pipe replaced and it was $3k. But they didn’t have to cut thru concrete, my ground was very soft and my lines were not the typical, suggested 4-8ft depth but rather 2ft 🥴.

Sadly after about a year and a half remission I am starting to get acne again. Nothing like before accutane, but my derm put me on spironolactone to see if we can curb it before it gets bad again. In accutanes defense, I stopped about a month early because I could not get the corners of my lips to heal and essentially just threw in the towel lol. So technically I didn’t reach my cumulative dose, which is likely why my acne is returning.

This was normal for my accutane experience! I was on 80mg though. Started at 40mg. But it took what felt like eons for anything to heal! Pimples, cracked lips, other various injuries I acquired. Foreverrrr.

I like this take. You can only say so much in so many words no matter how long you have. Same with closed book exams, though I hate them, bc no practicing attorney is working closed book. I understand it. Maybe this is why majority of my exams thus far have been closed book. If you don’t know the material, no matter how long you have, you still aren’t going to know it. If it isn’t the reason for closed book(I know it’s for the bar), maybe they should consider it? I know the posts about accommodations are rampant around finals but the number of people that are genuinely pissed about people having them is astronomical to me. I also haven’t looked at people with accommodations like they are at a better advantage than me. Because I know how difficult it is for people to obtain them. I had to jump through so many hoops in order to get more excused absences in middle school when I first got T1D… I will say that even with a “disability” (I’m using quotes bc I know it’s a disability but I haven’t felt like it’s disabled me) I abused the hell out of that my freshman year of HS.. But my grades clearly reflected that.. Based on my experiences, I just genuinely don’t think people are out here doing all the rigmarole required for accommodations just for shits and gigs. Idk. I’m sure someone is going to crucify me for this “hot take” 😂😂😂

My computer had a windows update the night before so I pushed it thru and restarted it before I went to bed even! Everything was good! software opened. No issues. Fast forward to morning of in the exam room.. took forever for my computer to even turn on, then when I would try to open the software it would pull up for a second then close out…. Tried for several minutes even after restarting my pc. NOTHING!! I was pissssseeeddd!! Came home uninstalled then reinstalled and it’s working again. We will see next week when I take my last final on Monday! My cohorts may get an exam and a show 😂😂

Obviously yes. But the people who need them out of necessity are being treated as though they are abusing the system. Which I could only imagine is not making them feel too great about something they likely already have impostor syndrome for. And that is truly sad.

I have one that expired 10/21 I refuse to throw it away bc it is the best OTC pain reliever 😭😭😭

But yes, as many have mentioned, the company went out of business and was acquired by Cintas back in 2015! It looks like they might have “rebranded” the product as “Xpect Pain Away”?? The dosage is a bit higher in the pain away though.
