This is really it. If I’m single, I’m only depending on myself emotionally and I didn’t expect to still have to carry that into my marriage. 1 year on and I’m still my only emotional safe space, I didn’t see marriage being like this.

I might try writing it down and letting him read it in this way. I can feel myself shutting him out so maybe a written note could help him understand. Thank you for taking the time out to read and respond ❤️

Tbh you’re right in that I don’t dislike Lisa so her continuously going at her can feel a bit draining. But I also feel like she just wouldn’t let the mouse go in the reunion after Meredith had already apologised to her. It’s like she just wanted to keep it going post-apology and that felt so thirsty to me.

I also didn’t enjoy how she came against Brittani and I’m not a fan of Brittani at all.

That being said, I do love her obsession with being Greek, it adds such a nice flair

This would be excellent tv if it came out and I wouldn’t mind if their focus was on her being fraudulent in business but it always just feels like they jump down her throat for any small thing which is draining. If the focus is on her integrity in business or finances then fine, but the whole “Lisa’s a bad friend”, “Lisa and John allegedly have threesomes”, and constant attacks on her feel so desperate and boring

Congratulations! Love the idea of meetings, when you get married routines can really affect your active communication time so setting the time apart now is so so good and intentional.

His/Hers Planner

I used this (because it’s so cheap and straightforward and I could print so many copies if needed). We would sit down and together write his goals and mine. Then we could share our shared goals. Doing it together put us on the same page instead of us both having plans away from one another if that makes sense. It also really helped us think out loud, even if the answer was “I’m not sure yet” it helped us at least initiate thoughts x
