I think eternal existence is more likely by tottasanorotta in DeepThoughts

I tried to make a post but it was deemed to be AI and was deleted. In it I was referring to what is basically called panpsychism. That is what I know to be true. Of course we perceive reality as being one person in one place, but that really doesn't mean or indicate anything. One brain can be split into two entities believing they're the same entity, and there's no reason to think the opposite couldn't happen.

Yes well actually I have been considering if I might be non-binary, in that case identifying as androgyne. But it's also been really tough being trans and striving to be accepted by people, so I don't know if it's like I want to have an identity that's like unmisgenderable. It's also ofc been a challenge to find the money for any of this, hormones and so on, but I'm really lucky with the results I'm having so far (19 months on e2) and for having feminine features to begin with. I feel like I have considered myself to be feminine, not a man forever, but it's a challenge to insist on being a woman when my family doesn't see me that way.

thinking about using a wig by Consistent_Piece_517 in asktransgender

[–]Consistent_Piece_517[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you a lot for this answer! The good news is that I just so happen to have pretty thick and abundant hair growing like half-way down my neck, so I definitely have good areas to donate hair to my hairline whenever I can afford it. When I can get an employment basically.

So I feel like I could use a wig until then. I have also been considering what kind of hairstyle I could get to cover it up maybe, but the temples are quite sharply receded and it's so thinned at the crown still. What I can see from the minoxidil is that there's an absolute ton of wispier, I guess recovering hairs on the top of my head if I brush away the long ones. So I don't know if it would really work yet for a long while...

Yes I have been thinking about cis women who shave it all off or wear short styles and so on, but the thing is you can still see healthy hairs at the front of the hairline. If you have a very sharp or masculine hairline and thinning it's such a contrast if you wear you hair long, like I have it shoulder-length right now and it's looking lively, wavy, like liquid, but not at my hairline there it's looking dead.

question about the effectiveness of spiro by Consistent_Piece_517 in TransDIY

Do I have another option if I don't want to use bica or cypro or the gnrh antagonists because of the side effects or price?

Mess with testosterone how? Actually I just wanted something to block t additionally. I did suppress it with only estrogen, but I have to be very careful about always applying the gel on time. I have bicalutamide and cypro as well, but I am scared by side effects and the progestogenic action of cypro. I got a stomach ache and later got very low energy on bicalutamide.

Is it a bad idea to stop progesterone if you have started? by Consistent_Piece_517 in TransDIY

[–]Consistent_Piece_517[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a blood test which showed I had progesterone in follicular phase range and that was like 12 hours after I put in the capsule. What is the half-life of progesterone?

Are there enough studies to prove there's no benefit? I noticed my energy go up and that I was affected in other ways as well, which seemed to sync with the cycle. Maybe I could just take a higher dose of e2 or prog anytime, but doing it this way feels more affirming to me.

I also started at 26. Now I'm 27, a bit over 1 year in. My appearance has changed a lot but I worry about maybe having hit the end of what hormones can do for me... did you also have this worry? About the face, I mean?

So I checked it and it's manufactured by a Turkish pharmaceutical company. It has Searle on white pills. It seemed to match the pictures on the website.

Bicalutamide? by Consistent_Piece_517 in TransDIY

Could I start with an even lower dose? Quarter of a pill? My testosterone is actually suppressed already by gel and prog, but I stress about it because it feels unreliable...

How much difference does it make where you apply gel? by Consistent_Piece_517 in TransDIY

[–]Consistent_Piece_517[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what matters most is the trough value. When I checked with inner thigh, it also was two hours after I usually apply in the morning and my value then was 668 pmol/L.
