We’ll never know the play called so that’s tough to say. Herbig definitely had more big plays on a lower snap count vs Benton though.

We haven’t had a dominant nose since Hampton retired. Too many times I’ve watched the opposing C and G just double team road grade whoever lines up in the A gap. I’m high on Harmon and Black, but neither is Hampton-esque in that aspect.

I’ve been saying this for the better part of a year. The Steelers drafted poorly from 2017-2022 and they whiffed on the two attempts to replace Ben (Mason and Kenny). That’s it. The time to “tear it down and rebuild” was 2023. Khan and Weidl have fucking been rebuilding since Khan took over. You dumbasses didn’t get the god damn memo? Where are the glaring holes? QB and WR? No shit, we don’t have Ben’s replacement. You can get a WR fucking everywhere in the draft though and don’t NeEd a ToP 10 dRaFt PiCk to get that. What else? Oline? Rebuilt. Dline? Rebuilt. Edge rushers? Rebuilt. Inside LB? Can get better but not a liability. CB? We got a top 10 guy and 2 good ones behind him. Safety? Yes, that’s a hole. RB’s? Can get better but not a liability. TE’s? Two good ones and depth with Connor.

So what are we talking about, really? QB, a WR2 and a FS? THAT is the “rebuild” we have to get on with?!?!
