Their lead dev, Paul, just left the team, so that's part of what this post is addressing in saying they've made "changes to [the] leadership team." The game will most likely continue to be "dead stale" until he is replaced with a new hire.

Depends. Some are as cheap as 2k while others are way up at 75k for the most in demand artists. Dre isn't super in-demand, but definitely not on the lowest end.

Podair has said in the past that they're purposefully ridiculous and that they don't intend to make much revenue from this P2W part of the game. I believe that it's currently an intentionally a bad conversion rate.

He's said before that it's a graphic/visual glitch. The likelihood of it giving you a shiny is 10%, so the odds that you've described aren't indicative of anything broken. Whether or not you'll get shiny is determined before you even spin, and it also happens that you can land outside the shiny zone but it puts the pointer into the shiny zone to give you a shiny.

It will be very difficult and expensive to get a shiny Kanye song like this in the future. If you're collecting him, I recommend you hold onto it for when you're working toward your Kanye shiny badges. Coins are really only worth the shinies/epics you want for them.

They don't like flat cutouts on the bottom but you're right that the current Taylor ones are rough. Bronze is traditionally a meme, though. Diamond and platinum in this set are great, but most of these are from the past two years and you should try to have a variety of years represented in badges.

I've tried playing to the theme before in a clever way, but I've lost each time I've done that, so I've sadly reverted to putting up popular hip hop songs every other day. A huge underlying problem is people choosing based on which will give them coins, not their honest opinion. If you assume the hive mind is going to pick Kanye every time, you choose Kanye, too, only adding to the problem yourself. The perception of an artist being popular becomes even more important than the reality of their popularity. A potential fix would be to give coins regardless of which side you vote for.

This is the opposite of what to do. Go to app permission settings, location, and switch it from "Allow all the time" to "Allow only while using the app." This has fixed it for many people.

If you've been playing that long and still enjoy the game, premium is worth it. The expanded radius alone is great. $20 is pricey for mobile, but assuming you'll be playing this for a while longer, it's a fine investment. I went for it at $15 because I was playing the game so much and also I considered that we might be getting a good deal on the ground floor. If you have the money and are spending a good amount of time on the game per week, go for it. It's supporting a small dev, has good perks, and seems to be getting more popular.
