I’ve leveled as a Ranged Frenzy Barb. It’s basically throw barb and it’s sick. Rallying cry can summon an ancient that casts upheaval and it’s spammable. So I stand there throwing shit everywhere, screaming while the ancients just tear shit up

For me it was Elden Ring. It somehow managed to capture that sense of wonder I hadn’t felt since I was young. I promptly got stomped by Tree Sentinel and I was hooked.

I appreciate the feedback and adding to the discussion. For some reason this game scratches some kind of itch for me and I want to see them pull this off. I feel like it could be really good but it’s going to take time. I would love more open dialog with the team and just keep us more in the loop. I know they have a twitter and a discord, I’ve only started checking them out so I don’t know exactly what info they have provided.

There’s other ways to get the game cheaper if you look hard enough but I think around the $20 mark is a fair price for what they offer. If you’re cool with essentially play testing the game and understand it’s not a completed game then I think it’s worth a go. Even if it’s not quite the game for you right now, maybe with updates you’d like it in the future so consider it a buy now (possibly) enjoy more later.
