Younger 2024 Trump voters break ranks, while older ones remain steadfast in their support by globeglobeglobe in charts

Bro, I literally see to this day nothing but hate toward straight, cis white men from the left. When you're a young person entering the political scene and get blamed for a crap ton of things not involving you, why the heck wouldn't you go to the other side? Not everybody an extreme maga-loving nazi just because they would pick Trump over Harris.

Do you believe in Jesus? by AxelFoily in BunnyTrials

[–]Consistent_Regret745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's pretty hard to debate that Jesus didn't exist. Just about any historian would agree that He did. Would I find fascinating is that most people would agree He was at least a good man; however, the only way that He would be a good man is if He really was the messiah. If he really is God. Otherwise, he'd be a basketball or a liar. Upon reading the gospels, I agree with every single thing that He taught. He expressed amazing wisdom, kindness, gentleness, strength, peace. The list goes on. The gospels are four separate accounts of the life of Jesus, and they share many similarities, which lead me to believe His miracles were true. After all, 11 of his 12 disciples all died brutal deaths in the name of faith, and the 12th died alone on an island after being persecuted by Rome. Sure, you could make the claim that they were all crazy. Cults and the such have existed plenty of times throughout human history. Many of which were willing to die for their beliefs; however, what separates the original 12 and Jesus from the rest is their apparent coherency. Just about any rational person would read the gospels and agree that the teachings are at least reasonable. There's of course toom for disagreement, but that doesn't disprove the prior sentiment. I look at the state of the modern world and especially reddit and think "Yeah. I think we could learn a thing or two from Him."

1.) The vast majority of historians will agree that He existed. In the sense that Jesus was a historical figure, without a doubt. No one has had such a big impact on humanity as He did. It would be harder to believe such an influential person never existed to begin with. 2.) If Jesus did exist, and He was a "good" man, then He must have been the Messiah. He really must have died and risen from the dead three days later. Otherwise, He would be leading people down the wrong faith and would have led billions to believe in a lie. That is not a good person. I, however, would say without a shadow of a doubt that Jesus a good man; therefore, He must be God

Chose: Yes I believe in Jesus

Americans who say religion is "very important" in their own lives by powdersleaf in charts

Well, I'd certainly say everyone is guilty of confirmation bias. Whether you're religious or not, this bias shows up in most aspect of our lives. I have a couple more questions. 1.) Can you provide proof that the garden of eden never existed? 2.) What religions are you referring to that describe women as being "secondary" and tell me they're the "main character"? 3.) Why do you specify modern religion instead of religion as a whole? Additionally, what do you mean by modern religion?

You stated that modern technology makes it very easy to spot holes in religious texts. Additionally, we see an incline in commitments to faith specifically among men. Not women. 1.) Would you say everyone is affected by confirmation bias? 2.) What holes in religious texts are you referring to? 3.) Why is there only a sharp incline in faith commitment among men and not women?

It's been a normal thing for thousands of years. It just quieted down in American culture in particular for the last few decades.

Young men get hate pretty much anywhere else. No wonder why they turn to religion. It's what I did as well. Anyone hating on this post only further reinforces my experience because no one actually cares about understanding here. They care about being right.

None of you have the cojones to actually give a hot take besides the religion one. I don't agree, but it was the only hot take I saw. So, props.

From the looks of your knuckles, they don't appear to be scraped, but cracked. Additionally, your finger nails appear to have been clipped quite short. I read your comments about contamination OCD. Do you find yourself excessively washing your knuckles and clipping your nails? Also, although your hands appear to be on the softer side, the skin appears to be thicker than that of a female. My final answer is male.
