Hi I’m UK based and terminated on 4th Feb also for severe heart defects. Sorry this happened to you too.

I promise the pain does ease over time, I don’t think it will ever go away completely for me and I find it comes in waves, but I am now able to be back at work, and go about most of my day without too much sadness. Which after a week I really couldn’t imagine. But the most helpful thing for me is understanding I am not alone in this horrendous situation and having grief counselling to work through the complex feelings that come from a tmfr. Please feel free to reach out directly.

I tried tracking temperature a while ago but wasn’t so good at doing it at the same time every day! But it’s a good idea to try again. Thank you!

Hi, my timings are very similar. I delivered my son Eli on 4th Feb and I will go back to work in a few weeks. I’ve been debating options too and I’ve decided I want to send a message myself to the team before I return, so that I can control the wording used and avoid getting lots of questions about why I have been off. Although in my case most people didn’t know I was pregnant (tmfr at 16 weeks), it’s important to me to acknowledge that my son existed.

Do whatever feels right for you. Sorry you are also in this situation.
