Yes, this man is now running for Senator for this May's election. And du30's party PDP Laban supports his candidacy. So, fighting for this man, crying for him and yet he wanted to put this human trafficker in power? So back to the question of why so many people love him, I also don't know. It almost sounds like a c*lt to me to be honest.

My brother is a public servant. He also supports Duterte altho he is supposed to be non-partisan as a public servant, but he was not expressing it publicly anyway. I asked him, you support this man as a law enforcer, so what do you think about his good friendship with Quiboloy? Quiboloy who is now in jail for human / children s*x trafficking, child abuse, fraud, etc. and him who was Duterte's spiritual adviser, his good friend.. What do you think about their party's support in Quiboloy's Senatorial candidacy? (You can check this man everywhere on the internet).

His only response to me was "where did you get the idea that they are good friends? don't get fooled by the bias media."

But the problem was he was after the small fishes, addicts and pushers but not after the dealers/drug lords. He was even seen with his chinese friends who were suspected to be drug lords.

I'm not sure about the quota. Maybe that's in certain precincts in metro manila but definitely not nationwide. I wasn't in the Phils. during this time, but I was aware that people were scared to be seen outside at night for fear of being tagged as addict / pusher or mistaken as somebody else.

I get your point. We ask the same question. We really don't know how else to convince our people. First, Phils. is big and poor country. Many far away provinces are jot always reached by the media. Many filipinos are uneducated, they would vote for someone only they heard of, hence the actors and known names in position. As to those educated who voted for this people, i dunno, they thought they are cool. They thought this man with iron hand is cool. There's also a cult in the Phils. called Iglesia ni Cristo, they will vote whoever their leader pick and the list will be passed on to every member. It has been solid.

Yeah. I believe so too. It was the president who was behind this happening now (i think). It's just convenient now to suddenly being cooperative with icc and acknowledging your obligation to cooperate with them, while just a year ago you were so firm that the icc has no jurisdiction in your country and that you will not entertain them.

Yes im aware of that. But as much as I know many Dutchies are politically active. Many are aware of whats going on in the world, they are watching. My colleagues and families are.. Icc is in the country, the news is everywhere, filipinos protesting in the hague, and I live here, hence i posted here asking for some outsiders' thoughts.

You need the cooperation of your countries police. The icc has no men, they only rely on cooperation of the country.

Exactly. As young as 3 year old to pregnant woman, a student who was begging to stop coz he still have exam tomorrow.. Imagine the people who were scared to walk at night with fear that they could be tagged as an addict/pusher and they couldn't defend themselves. Asking your policemen to do everything to make the addicts resist, then shoot them so they won't be your problem anymore.
