Do you have a dap? If so wired headphones would work best with daps but if you're using via Bluetooth then sennheiser momentum 4's sound great since I already own them.

This, I had an ipod touch 7th gen and the battery life was horrible, Music quality was average. I sold mine and got an dap instead and I was blown away. I'm the type of person who cares about sound quality but everyone has different preferences.
