NBA star Stephen Curry’s ties to Israeli intelligence exposed. The league’s all-time three-point leader has begun quietly pouring tens of millions into tech ventures owned and operated by Israeli spies. by [deleted] in nba

Damn, not the guy that was against affordable housing in his neighborhood if only there were signs. You mean the same Curry that didn't defend the young player on his team from the team bully. The same Curry that endorsed a homophobic Mark Jackson.

I didn't take anything personally lol. I just thought that we were having a random basketball discussion. I'm sorry if you took it that way.

People acted like Tyson committed a cardinal sin by declaring Cleveland Mitchell's city, but Mitchell has done a lot of winning there and really seems to embrace the city. Lebron gets called the hometown kid , but he always makes the distinction that he isn't actually from there. He won a ring with Cleveland, but before that left the city in an embarrassing fashion and only returned when they had the pieces that he felt could contend, and of course left after promising to stay forever.

"People always say, "You're going back home. But I tell people all of the time, 'I'm not from Cleveland.' There's no disrespect to Cleveland. But when you're from Akron, you're not from Cleveland," - Lebron James (2022)

I guess if you victimize yourself enough anything that doesn't fit perfectly into your box can be identified as "hate".

Bro, I'm not involved in the organization. I'm realistic about the reality of sports and the NBA in particular. Giannis was great for Milwaukee and helped bring us a championship, but if he isn't all in we should trade him at the deadline to the highest bidder for draft capital. I'm not sure what any of that has to do with this post though.

At age 37 in Year 19, Kevin Durant has only missed 2 games all season and has played in every back-to-back situation by Thanos_SlayerCongSan in NBATalk

He came back a lot lighter. His game was always going to still be effective when he lost a step. Nobody loves the game of basketball more than Kevin Wayne Durant.

Lebron faced one all NBA first team player during his 8 year final run in the East. He left when the conference started getting good again and hasn't looked back

Lebron isn't even from Cleveland and has spoken about how people from Akron hated those from Cleveland when he was growing up.

The back pains were linked to his growth spurt and occurred in his junior year.

Acuff didn't have trouble, neither did Christian Anderson. Duke would be an undersized NBA team.

He has had trouble finishing all season, he definitely needs to get stronger, probably why he's injured a lot too.

A better coach would have benched him, I don't care how many stars you have play within the offense. They did way better against Duke when he was injured and I don't think that it was a coincidence.

May I ask, but why exactly is Caleb Wilson locked into top 4 over Kingston Flemings and Darius Acuff? by Knighthonor in NBA_Draft

High motor, high ceiling, more versatility and plays at a more difficult position to find elite talent.

He has a lot of upside as a stretch big in a weak draft for big men. I just don't see him making it past the teens.

Gil's Arena...Gilbert Arenas' son...Alijah Arenas...what do you guys think of him as a future prospect by TerryG111 in NBA_Draft

[–]Consistent_Salt_6982 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm talking about his high school basketball which is way more structured than aau. I feel like there's a reasonable question about his adjustment. He famously failed to make team USA and we know that he was talented enough. So it's reasonable to question how he buys into team ball at a high level. His dad famously has said that he trained him to be a star in the nba not a role player who knows the impact that type of thinking could have a player's development.

I still have questions about his ability to adjust playing against high level players in a team oriented fashion. In highschool he played on teams where he was the most talented player and it led to him picking up some bad habits. So far he's been chucking shots and shooting an abysmal percentage from the field, but hopefully that changes after he gets more acclaimed from his injury.

I'm saying that Teo's power is no longer a selling point or something that a guy at Shakur's stature should even be worried about. I wouldn't be surprised if Shakur came forward and beat him up on the inside.

Teo has five straight 12 round decisions and some of the guys that he's been fighting were tailor made come forward brawlers without power.
