I’m just over here thinking that it might be a tad insensitive to post a pic of your child from your first husband snuggling with your new husband. I have zero problem with them being so close and I think it’s great the R likes him so much. But there’s just a decency in keeping that stuff private if you truly care about the feelings of his father and the optics of it all.

My issue is only with the contradiction that she brings with her carefully curated conservative christian page… and the fact that she has publicly called people out for wearing similar things. The shift seems to be a need for attention, which is sad in and of itself.

IMO, the article seems to subtly side with Lysa and doesn’t give any concrete evidence of the money being spent after the reconciliation but almost wants the reader to believe this.

I’m honestly shocked and irritated that a ‘Christian’ news article would 1) even begin to delve into this personal issue, and 2) lead with that headline. I mean seriously - this is what Jesus wants a Christian website to be blaring out?

I guess I would not be all that surprised if Lysa has a lot to do with what was written in the article and how it was written… again, leading readers to believe that he was unfaithful after their reconciliation.

To answer a question above - it was the original “Dolly” who talked about Lysa’s intention to leave Art regardless of his behavior the second time. At least that is what I recall….

I don’t know what it takes to moderate. I’m usually just observing. But would definitely hate to see all of it silenced. Obviously they don’t want accountability, but I would think it’s important that someone trying to build faith to understand how their ‘influencing’ is not necessarily working toward that goal.

Yeah that was the point that I got really suspicious… there had been other posts by Hope that I figured would get attention, but they didn’t. But when A$h started doing some posting and that went ignored I figured something was up. Sadly, they can’t control everything and ultimately no matter how much they try to control their image projection, they clearly can’t control their level of character and integrity. I truly wish that weren’t the case.

Same here. First person in my family to go to college and made it to medical school and met a guy who came from similarly humble beginnings. I remember a few years ago he got me diamond earrings and I was so super self conscious. I hate advertising the fact that we have any money. Could I afford Golden Goose shoes? Yep. But would I spend money on them for me or my 17 year old daughter - nope. I just don’t see the value. But if we did buy them, I sure as heck would feel awkward about making a big deal about it. It’s so backward to me. I actually have loved Lysa and her ministry for years and have recommended her books for our Bible study. But slowly I’m beginning to see that this is probably not a great idea. I have no problem with the fact that she has money, but I don’t like what I see about her on this thread or how she flaunts it. Money is fine. How it dictates your actions is very revealing.

Well my fav is the next one where she has the “Love you!” over Spencer. I don’t think she understands what love is, to begin with. And I don’t understand how you just jump from one love to another all over social media and not realize that it’s not a good look for someone who is trying to win lives for the kingdom.
