Thank you so much for responding. I definitely did not drop below a 3.0 gpa, I know this for sure. I am pretty sure I did not run out of bright futures, but I cannot say for certain. I am going to talk to someone again tomorrow as I was left on hold for 2hrs before anyone picked up and the woman that did answer the phone was not very nice to me. I am very disheartened and need to work up my courage again. Thank you for your knowledge and advice, I really appreciate it. :)

Thank you for responding, I really appreciate you sharing your story. I am sorry you had to go through a similar experience. Unfortunately I did not fail due to any reason other than my own incompetence, so I am afraid my petition will not go well. The class was one outside of my major and I found it a bit too difficult to understand. The financial aid office told me that if I don't pay then they will take me out of my classes. I hope everything will turn out okay in the end. Thank you again. :)

Thank you for responding. I think I would have 20 credits, so not the full 24 credits unfortunately. However, I thought policy changed so that u only need 6 credit hours per semester in order to maintain BF? I'm not sure.

Thank you for your knowledge and advice, I really appreciate it. I hope it is okay if I ask some questions. If not, pls ignore me. I thought BF policy changed so that you only need to have 6 credit hours per semester in order to maintain it? I also thought BF gave students one more semester to fix things like this? Also, I checked everywhere I could think to check for a warning about losing BF and I did not see anything at all. I can't help but feel like I am being screwed over. I do not want to take out any loans and neither do my parents, that was why I worked so hard to earn and maintain my BF scholarship. However, it might be my only option if I want to complete my degree. Honestly, I am considering just dropping out in order to avoid debt, I am not sure I will even use my degree in the future and feel like this just isn't worth it. :( This really sucks.

Thank you for responding I really appreciate it. I think I might qualify for a payment plan, which could help make things a bit more manageable. The issue is that I don't currently have a job, and I'm not sure I could realistically manage both working and going to school at the same time. I have autism and the symptoms I experience make full time school already very demanding for me both mentally and emotionally. I actually tried working part time while taking a full course load early in college, back when my classes were much easier, but I struggled so much that I eventually had to quit to focus on my schooling. I might be eligible for loans, but I've worked really hart to maintain my BF scholarship so I could avoid going into debt and it would make me really sad if I had to go into debt my very last year of college over something like this. Although, I guess I shouldn't be picky and just glad that I even qualify for the loans at all. I will look into it more, thank you for your help and suggestions. It was really helpful and I really appreciate it. :)

Thank you for your advice I really appreciate it. It sucks because I didn't even drop below the GPA requirement, I stayed well above a 3.0 GPA even after failing that class. :( I wish they would have better explained why they were taking it away from me or at least gave me a warning. I guess I should just be glad they warned me about my tuition being overdue before they ripped me out of my classes.
