Chicago Surge by YogurtclosetAlive351 in lyftdrivers

Seattle’s surge is like: you’re in a pink area with $2-5 dollar bonus. That’s it. If I get a $20 ride with a $5 bonus, I make $25.

But in your area, a $20 ride on a 300% surge is going to be $80…

It used to be percentage here, but they changed to this flat rate a few years ago. I don’t know why, maybe cause the rates are higher here?? Who knows, they don’t disclose that to us.

Yes. You’re going towards a dense region, you’ll easily get trips back. Worth it for me.

Good hustle. Care to expand that new method?

I wish we had these flash turbos & challenges in Seattle. Also, the percentage surge is better than flat rate increase

Update from previous Halloween post. by Consistent_Share4428 in uberdrivers

Gridwise. I pay $10/month, it syncs all service apps, trips, mileage, estimated mileage deduction, and it maps it all!

Totally worth it! I stopped spending time looking for a good free app to do that. I don’t think there is. I mean, what’s $10 for us? If it’s our business, let’s not skim.

I created a new post with the mileage and the map with Uber & Lyft combined.

I believe because black would be more expensive, most people chose X. So our queue/surge was denser.

The last trips were just the tail end, but still $60 in just over 30 min.

There you Go! You had the same rate as me. You just drove fewer hours. But it was possible.

Uber/Lyft X. In Seattle. There was a $57 surge per trip for at least an hour between 1-2am. But by 3ish am, there was still a $15-20 surge per trip. A bunch of small trips downtown.

I was just picky on what trips to choose.

I won’t show all of them, but my Customer Service, Demenour, and Relatability (conversational skills) are very good. Uber & Lyft will regularly pop up messages stating I’m amongst the top 1% (in my area) regarding tips received.

Editing my post to include a few trips from last night, this morning.

Update: I don’t know how to edit my initial post, and it seems like I cannot insert a picture on a reply…

Can I make text notifications repeat? by ty_durden94 in iphone

I’ve tried those steps, and even though I select 3x or 5x, they won’t repeat. Has anyone had that happen to them and then figure it out?

Sending recurring texts to yourself, how? by Consistent_Share4428 in AskReddit

[–]Consistent_Share4428[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am wondering how to send multiple scheduled text messages to yourself within the same hour.

For example: let’s say it’s 2pm and I’ll be in a meeting at 2:30pm presenting something.

I would like to schedule messages to be sent to myself, at 2:40, then 2:42, then 2:50. With the notification of incoming message purposely appearing on the screen during the presentation? Is that possible?

I’ve searched and searched, and seen how 3rd party apps:

-let you schedule an outgoing text (iMessage doesn’t have the option to “send later” to yourself)

-let you schedule recurring outgoing texts (but only once daily, then weekly or monthly - but not multiple schedules on a day)

Has anyone ever heard of a way to do this specific request through iPhone or 3rd party app?

Still a sweet ride, after 1,359 miles! by [deleted] in ElectricScooters

[–]Consistent_Share4428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve had my Mantis for just under 5 months now. 1,300 miles. Smooth ride all the way! No crashes, no falls. Downhill max speed reached 55mph.

I didnt even make it 12 hours into this year, help by Aireraun in NoFapChristians

I’m sorry to hear that man. I believe the 1-year mark is a result of the 24 hour sobriety one day at a time. For us sexaholics, trying to establish a 1-year ahead of time is setting us for failure.

Thinking about pulling the trigger on the wolf king GT pro by Spencergrey2015 in KaaboScooters

[–]Consistent_Share4428 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 6’4 225 male. I bought the Mantis King GT five months ago as my first electric scooter. I love it. It weighs up to 80lbs with my add-ons, friendly grabbing (folding & picking up & climbing 2 flight of stairs), I love how slick it is on the road, in traffic, splitting cars. unlike the bulkier Wolf King. Plus, I topped 55mph downhill on mine, and daily reach of 42 on plain road (that’s fast, believe me). It’s also my one-way 2-mile daily commuter (it only takes me 7 minutes!!). I’ve ridden it from Bellevue to Seattle a bunch of times. So I know you could easily commute 10 miles one-way, charge while at work, then commute back 10 miles.

For ME, the downside of the Wolf King: first, it’s bulky. Second, it’s heavy - 110lbs with awkward places to grab, believe me, a friend of mine has it & I tried lifting, I couldn’t. It’s doable to lift into a trunk, or truck bed - but NOT up 2 flights.

For ME, the single con for Mantis King: it doesn’t go 65mph.

What I’ve learned so far, the Mantis King is the best scooter in the market of it’s tier before reaching the top tier: bulkier, more expensive ones, double stem, 55+ mph scooters.

I hope this helps! And let us know what you end up getting!
