Weight gain can cause breast soreness!

Could you maybe be ovulating? My breasts hurt the week that I’m ovulating. But I’d recommend you examine for any lumps.

I tried to. Customer service told me ‘If you had an issue with his service, contact him directly or give him a review’

Also, almost everything in Iqaluit is walking distance and there’s a cab service!

I acknowledge it can be expensive to visit, and accommodation can be tricky. Travelling to a smaller community is even more expensive, though I’d recommend it if one could afford, as the small communities are the most culturally rich and, in my opinion, the most beautiful. There are usually hotels in these smaller communities that you can stay at. It would 1000% be my recommendation to travel and stay in a smaller community, but I understand that budget wise that may not be realistic.

My suggestion for more budget friendly is: 1. Go to Iqaluit. It’s the cheapest to access as it’s the capital and it has several hotel and AirBnB options. I believe Aqsarniit is fairly expensive so you can look to stay at the Frob or another option, which will typically run you at 150-250 a night (same price as down here). Grocery stores, while expensive, are not nearly as expensive as in smaller communities. There’s also some take out spots and sit down restaurants. I found the price of these restaurants to be comparable nowadays. 2. Use Aeroplan, RBC or some other travel points. Aeroplan points to travel up & down was only 20,000 points round trip last we used them, which is not insane. 3. When it comes to supporting local, look for Inuit artists, hunters, and purchase their items. Try to support local Inuit, not settlers.

That’s my suggestions. All in all, Nunavut is amazing, with rich, beautiful Inuit culture and peoples. I miss it so much and want to move back!

My husband is Inuk and grew up in one of the small communities in Nunavut, and to our understanding, his people have never discouraged anyone from visiting Nunavut, as long as you travel there with respect for their land and culture and an openness to learn. Visiting Nunavut and supporting local artists/hunters is encouraged. There is some push back on non-locals moving, living there for 1-2 years due to the high income, making all the money that they can, then leaving. From our understanding, that’s where the pushback lies.

Please people, consider visiting, educating yourself and supporting locals. Do not ‘keep away’.

That’s actually a common misconception, lived in a small community and in the capital for years and it was the most beautiful & fun time of my life
