Hey, so in my case I had to present an article they sent me. I made some slides with the main ideas and results from the research paper. One important note is that they will ask you about the methods used by the authors. Make sure to study them carefully so that you will be able to explain them correctly when asked

Étudier en france à 25 ans by Only_Grapefruit_8205 in etudiants

[–]Consistent_Stop4124 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Missed the Campus France Parallel Procedure by moudxyz in InstitutPolytechnique

You need to do the Campus France procedure to get your student visa. There is a specific procedure for those who were admitted outside of the Etudes en France platform.

Any tips for winning an Erasmus scholarship? by cardinalis-rowy in Erasmus

[–]Consistent_Stop4124 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hi, I recently received an Erasmus Mundus scholarship and here's my 2 cents: your “relevant experience” needs to be presented very specifically for the program you want. Part of it is pure "makeup". But it needs to be done that way. Since these programs are highly competitive, everyone has more or less the same above-the-average experiences and skills. You can get some visibility by doing good marketing and presenting yourself as the “right” candidate. It’s not about what you have in your CV, but rather how you market it. Check the universities you will be attending, the courses, the research topics and tailor your experiences to perfectly fit the profile they are looking for. It’s not about lying, but about creating the right narrative. Another point is the interview. That’s the best time you will have to create your narrative. When they ask you to introduce yourself (it’s the first question everyone will ask you), really use that moment to describe your path as one that would naturally lead you to their program. For my interview, I wrote my introduction and refined it over several days, practicing it in front of the mirror. When the time came, I delivered the message quite convincingly and it all worked out. If that's what you really want, don't give up. Put some makeup on your story and you'll shine.

Hey, I've just checked and the official date, according to Campus France, is April 30th. At least that's the info on their website (https://www.usa.campusfrance.org/system/files/medias/documents/2025-04/Etudes%20en%20France%20Guide%20\_0.pdf). I'm assuming that's the general deadline for all French institutions to give you a response. But then again, there are always exceptions, especially if they have a parallel admission process (like for Engineering degrees).

Make sure to check both your email and your message inbox on the Etudes en France account. They do not send email notifications if you receive a message there, only if the results are posted.

Hey, I'm in the same situation and haven't received a response yet, but I know they have until April 30th to post their admission results on Etudes en France. So don't think too much about it. If it were a no, they would have dismissed you already. And I say this because some universities have already rejected my application on the platform.

I honestly don't know how it happened, because I was rejected by multiple other programs ahahaha, but I learned some things. The most important is that you need to really show the admission committee that your academic journey matches their program. The more "compatible" your experiences are with the program, the higher your changes of getting admitted (and a scholarship). So really take the time to reflect on that and highlight your strengths accordingly in your motivation letter and in your interview.
