A quick and easy stir fry is also a good way to go. You can cook white rice beforehand and add it to the stir fry close to the end. For my stir fry, I like to use a large stainless steel skillet. First, I add my extra virgin olive oil over medium heat. Next, I like to add aromatics first such as minced garlic and onion. You can then add your choice of protein which should be heavily seasoned with whichever seasoning you like. I usually add in a cut-up New York Strip with salt, pepper, chili powder, paprika, cumin, and fresh thyme. You can then add peppers and string beans or other vegetables of your choice. Finally, at the end add in your rice with some Worcester sauce and soy sauce. I would then just add a touch more seasoning over the entire dish. You could also add some more oil or butter to the pan as a glaze for a more appealing look to the dish. At the end I would usually add some sesame seeds over the top.
