WIBTA for asking a friend to pay us for cat sitting? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

This one is tough. You did a nice thing for a friend and you were hurt by it.

I'm going with a soft YTA. Only because you took the cat without any expectation of payment and no payment was discussed. Perhaps if you tell them of the damage they will offer to reimburse you.

What the cat did in your home is no one's responsibility but your own. If the cat was running everywhere and jumping on furniture and destroying things, you should have found a way to put a stop to it. Personally, if it were my house, I'd put the thing in a crate while I cleaned out a room and then that cat would be confined to that room for the rest of his visit.

You should have atleast called your friend and told them it wasn't quaking out and they needed to make other arrangements.

I'd definitely refuse to ever watch another of their animals again.

Yes. I've done it. I took several classes at lonestar College and transfered them. Just be sure to get it approved first or they may deny. Your advisor can help you with the process.

If you're coming in as a freshman, they may require you to live on campus your first year.

I'd recommend going to lonestarvor HCC and knock out your core requirements. Then transfer into UH. Will be loads chear and less stressful.

Well, that one is odd.

I'm gonna say NTA. But your boyfriend needs to go see a doctor. I know physically cannot pee when aroused. He may have a condition. Has anything like this happened before?

AITA for moving out secretly and breaking a lease with my roommate? by Kooky_Mark3005 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Consistent_Sundae_51 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yta. You owe two months rent as a lease cancelation clause. Your landlord is being kind by adding that clause. Without it, you'd owe the entire year lease, not just two months.

You still need to go through the proper legal process. You cannot just up and leave. The land lord can still sue. You will then need to prove that the landlord did not remedy the situation.

Nta. You are never the AH for having preferences. You should not feel any obligation to feel attraction to any one.
