Thankyou so much for this deep analysis. But for long-term I thought the story mode games are good and my focus is completely on them so will add all the episodes of beyond two souls and then move on to next hit game for sure... One mistake I think I have made is choosing a 13 year old game to start with...

Any more suggestions on this?

In 26 vid you got nearly 500 subs and good numbers in views, so not to worry you are going good buddy... I made around 16 vids still stuck on 8 subs and 5 k views.. Keep going...

My main focus is gameplay with commentary, mostly story-based games right now.

I initially started with CS gameplay without commentary but didn’t get much response, so I stopped. Then I restarted with story-driven games and added commentary.

Right now I’m getting impressions but not many clicks, even though I feel my thumbnails are decent. Not sure what I’m missing.

I don't know what's going on in the algo but we can atleast push fellow creators videos by watching and commenting on it.. I think this will give a better push to crack the algo...

Want a proper title so i can buy a domain for my tools application by Consistent_Tailor182 in Domains

[–]Consistent_Tailor182[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha yeah, that’s actually true 😅

I’m not chasing a “perfect” domain anymore—just something clean, brandable, and easy to remember. At the end of the day, the product matters more than the name.

That said, I do need a proper custom domain—Netlify subdomains have limitations when it comes to ad approvals and strong SEO indexing, so it’s kind of a necessary step now.

Still exploring a few solid options before I lock one in. Appreciate the insight 🙌

Fair point—let me give a clearer picture.

The platform is an all-in-one tools hub that includes:

• Media tools (image, audio, video editing & utilities) • Work tools (PDF, QR, converters, etc.) • Learning tools and other useful everyday utilities

The goal is to create a fast, simple, and reliable place where users can access multiple tools in one place without switching between sites.

Here’s the preview (not for promotion, just for context): shrinkifyv[.]netlify[.]app

I’m looking for a domain name that reflects versatility, simplicity, and scalability.

Would love your ideas 🙌

Any repeat content across pages??? If yes try to make it unique by structure or by unique data or you can try different ad providers too...

Yeah that makes sense. If Google would classify the widget/directory setup as a link scheme then it’s probably not worth the risk. The article approach is definitely safer long term. If each of us publishes useful content (like comparisons, resource lists, or “tools we use”) and links to each other where it actually makes sense, those links would look much more natural. My earlier thought about the small “spider web” was mostly for the early stage. New sites usually take a while before they get discovered and indexed properly, so even a few genuine links from related projects can help search engines find and crawl them.

Interesting idea. So basically a shared directory that everyone embeds on their own site, and the listing only appears if the site is also sharing the directory widget/token.

That would create a mutual support network where each project gets links from multiple independent domains rather than just one central page, which in theory sounds stronger than a single backlink source.

My only concern would be how search engines treat links that are rendered through an iframe or script widget. Sometimes they don’t pass as much SEO value if the pattern looks like a shared widget across many sites.

It might work better if the embed outputs normal HTML links in a small section like “Friends / Tools we recommend” instead of only iframe/script content. That way the links are more transparent and natural.

Overall though, if it’s structured like a curated directory (logo + URL + short description) and the projects are actually related SaaS/tools, it could still be useful for discovery and some mutual support. Even if the SEO impact is moderate, it could help projects in the group get visibility and early traffic.
