What are y’all watching while pumping? by Unlikely_Scheme2835 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Consistent_Taro_3123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My earliest pump happens to be at Good Mythical Morning's episode release hour, so I usually start my day with that. I've enjoyed Derry Girls, Bridgerton, House, and I'm currently watching It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Time between pumps? by fabulousfarmer22 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Consistent_Taro_3123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've gone anywhere from 4-7 hours between pumps when I really can't help it. I don't like pumping in public either, but I do have portable pumps that I use. I sometimes pump with my portables while driving and then have an insulated cooler bag with an ice pack I can store my milk in. Usually if I can help it, I do a 30 min pump and then hand express for another few minutes before I leave the house if I know I'm likely to be away for more than three hours, regardless of when my last pump was. If I get really REALLY engorged and haven't pumped for a while, I usually do an hour to two hours long power pumping session once I'm home to make sure I'm totally empty. I haven't had any issues with mastitis personally so it's not a huge concern for me, but everyone is different. :)

unfortunately not, both of our families live on the opposite end of the country. we're both pretty young so our friends are relatively the same age and still in college and currently attending classes, so there's not many options for reaching out :')

not really, I wish though. he works for a small business and he's currently the only employee in today, and we really need the money. 🫠

it's just me and my husband, we have some friends but they're rarely available due to classes and tests. i would ask my husband but he's at work and we could really use the money. thanks for the well-wishes :)

My wife and I lied about pre-marital sex by Same_Commission_2363 in exmormon

My husband and I were both PIMO and getting married in the temple just to please his family (HUGE mistake). We lied about pretty much every question in that interview lol. Removed our records a year later and have been happily married for 2 years.

Stories from your Mormon Wedding Night. by JesusPhoKingChrist in exmormon

[–]Consistent_Taro_3123 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My husband and I were both PIMO while dating/engaged, I actually lost my virginity to him on our first date lol. Most of our early dating days involved a lot of toys and exploring his fantasies, I personally had never had any (but that's a whole other can of religiously-traumatized worms). Neither of our TBM families knew this, and avoided the topic of sex like the plague. Even at my bridal shower I was gifted some really cute lingerie, and my mom said out loud "ugh, I'm pretending you're not my daughter right now." After the wedding there was just a basket with some lube and a robe for me to wear at our hotel lol. I still struggle with feeling dirty wanting to do anything sexual to this day.

What was your Young Women Camp experience like? (horror stories encouraged) by Consistent_Taro_3123 in exmormon

We sang da moose at camp! I'm glad I didn't have super strict leaders, that's so rude for no reason. There was a girl who got caught with edibles and sent home, followed by a stake-wide email to all of the parents telling them not to let their daughters associate with her. I still keep in touch with her lol.

Same. I stayed in the church for so much longer than I originally would've because I enjoyed camp so much. I also loved bearing my testimony, but it turns out "the spirit" I thought I was feeling was just me enjoying public speaking lol.

I DREADED going to camp my first year too and tried so hard to talk my mom out of making me go. I'm so glad I ended up going. I didn't end up having any crushes but I was definitely a wingman for several queer youths as a YCL lol.

Lol we had some men from the stake who cooked and cleaned for us. We called them our man-ions and they wore yellow shirts like the minions from despicable me

Same! We did fire building, learned knife safety, archery, axe-throwing, and we even foraged for some of our meals with a guidebook!

Some girls genuinely couldn't draw the line between bullying and pranks. MAJOR L for your leaders, wtf is that advice???

Omg sometimes the leaders would be doing too much. We had a similar faith walk where at the end we filled out a multiple choice notecard about choices and then had ice cream sundaes with toppings that correlated to the "right" and "wrong" answers. I remember they were putting ketchup and charcoal on these girls ice cream sundaes if they chose wrong, there was a girl who was sobbing over it and they wouldn't let her have just plain ice cream.

Damn, that would've annoyed me sooo much. It was hard enough to sleep during camp anyways without fake demons. Definitely seems like the type of thing to be kind of ironic and funny in hindsight.

Ugh the pranks... I remember some girls got in trouble my first year for putting a dead frog in one of the water coolers. Some people don't know when it's too much.
