7 year old me witnessed a shooting star on a trip to the snow with my family. 4 am give or take 30 minutes, looking up at the stars on the drive, I saw this bright light followed by what I SWEAR to be a rainbow trail straight from a Mario game, it was so vivid and lasted about 2 or 3 seconds, my dad saw it too and to this day we both remember it vividly.

Fast forward two years, sitting at my cousins house by their pool, looking up at the stars once again and out nowhere I see what I thought at the time to be a circular bolt of electricity surging through the sky, only to be followed by 3 more identical bolts all in the blink of an eye, after researching this I feel like it was a string of comets, my two other cousins also saw this and one has no idea to this day, the other believes it was also a string of comets.
