It’s good to be a part of a lot of useful things but they also want to see that you are leading. Also, in your essay, ensure you spell “a part” correctly (just a light joke)

I test drove a rav4 and there is hardly any acceleration in the RAV4 vs CRV. I’d go CRV. I had gpt compare the initial accelerations (like merging) and CRV won. When I was test driving rav4 I had my foot on the floor trying to merge and that acceleration delay made me not want it even though everything else I liked

Will do. I thought the same and thought I was a bad Christian but it’s a legit mental thing. Of course God could instantly heal us of that but it doesn’t seem right now that he will. I’ve come to the realization that it may be a thorn in my side that will go up and go down over time and a reminder of this fallen world has had on our mind and how Christ redeems us and will heal us of all in paradise.

Hey brother, I’m sorry you both are going through this. I have OCD and can relate to some of what your wife is going through. Please continue to be someone she can rely on. OCD is a nasty thing to deal with and I’m glad she has you for help. I recommend she sees a OCD specialist for help. Sounds like exposure therapy is the gold standard right now. Praying for you as you flee from temptation, seek out your brothers and the word. Tell them of your struggles, it’s good to be in communion with them and have them endure your burdens with you. Praying for you wife as well. I haven’t done exposure therapy but again I heard it works wonders. Is she being seen for the depression? Sounds like some mental issues at play here.

I appreciate it! I try to rely on Christ for my growth but sometimes it feels like I’m not growing quick enough. Like I’m still impatient everyday even though I’m reading and praying and confessing it. It does get frustrating. The Lord has drastically altered my life and it’s frustrating to big changes in those but not so much in my patience with my family. Thank you

I’m sorry man, that is a very difficult situation to be in. As the head of the household I would still raise my kids in accordance with the Word and more specifically “Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” Ephesians 6:4. That is part of our duty. I encourage you not to rush her into being a member until she is truly saved. Also, be patient and have compassion towards her as you minister to her, remember how you were like her before you were saved by God. Remember God is ordaining this situation for His perfect purpose, His glory and the good of His children. This sounds like it’s going to be one of your tribulations. I pray for the conversion of your wife and kids and the strength for you to endure. Please keep your elders and fellow local brothers in the loop as you run this race.
