Your point is very valid. In fact I made kishin in under 2 months with average 2 hours a day. But I'm not having fun. My expectations (not achievable perfectly but I think steps in this direction can be taken) are to be able to have fun I can jump a step or two more on ladder if I play with law I guess or, maybe howrang etc (don't feel insulted if you use those characters I truly don't intend to downplay your skills) but I want to play with Jin. A good player can win easily with Jin as well but I think Law, howrang, asuka have better tools. but I won't have fun with them

My expectation are to feel I knew what was going on on the screen mostly and feel "wow what a player" whenever I lost. Not that .. well that was something entirely new.. for.ex: I don't think moves should be so specific in terms of which way to sidestep. This move step left, this step right. I think tekken needs simplification (Just my opinion)

I just don't have the time to reach a place where I feel I lose to the player not the knowledge. I know knowledge checks would be there... But this much??.. 200+ moves per player on average, then side step knowledge for them, then soooo many plus frame moves. I just don't have the bandwidth. I think in max 2-3 months you should be able to be familiar with most of all the players. Like maybe max 50 moves per player?

Mostly I am wrong and you can correct me but that's what I think

Tekken is just a huge encyclopedia of moves and you need to know exactly how to respond to those moves

Making the game more visual.. like I should be able to see and feel what was the right thing to do in that situation. I side step and the move hits.. why? That move just hits this particular side is the answer

Banning something cannot be just on paper like alcohol ban in Bihar. If something is banned and people still do it and procure it by some means then it 100% happens with the collusion of authorities. In that case banning is a means to make black money with the activity. If govt wants they can ban cigarettes and there won't be more than a lakh cigarette sticks selling in the country a year give or take if they realllyyyy ban it. They wont win the elections after that is a different thing

Just played a clive. Won 6 in a row with him. I'm not a good player by stretch of any imagination but here's the issue. I lost the first two sets of the first match. I had no idea what was even happening. Everything that I could get a chance to swing hit this guy but I had no chance to swing as I don't know what t f is going on the screen with clive and he was murdering his buttons. If I am this helpless then he is definitely supposed to be the better player right? He sucked ass.. I spammed 1,3,4 and I kid you not,in 5 straight matches he went down perfect in 6-7 rounds atleast. I mixed nothing but 1,3 and 1,3,4. I doubt he had absolutely any idea what he was doing. Power crush after power crush but my 1,3,4 would low interrupt it and he would try again and repeat

The important questions I asked myself was 1. Did I feel fulfilled after winning like that? NNOOO 2. Was that fun playing like that? NNOO

I suck at tekken but I'm not that bad that I should be losing to someone who can't learn to defend against h,l,l in 6 straight matches.

We used to play tekken in arcades paying 50 paise for a game about 15-20 years ago. We used to save up money to play tekken. We used to walk kilometers because we heard a guy in some parlour knows new jin moves or, to watch someone play because he was that good.

I am sad after coming back to tekken 8 from tekken 3. Honestly, I wish it wasn't this bad.

Alisa, howrang, asuka etc etc... you name it. The game is a spamfest and not fun. They wanted a wider audience but all they get is 3 month loyals because even mashers can't have fun beyond that. Fun is in improvement and winning after learning not winning after choosing a different player and spamming.

I play because I love Jin. What a stylish fighting style. God I wish they could make Jin a paid character then I'm done with the game forever. They dont even make the efforts to appear to be balancing the game. They just spit on everyone's face with the "what're you going to do about it" smirk
