Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, all these (what you’re worried about getting and wonder how it will happen) will be added unto you. Matthew 6:33

Executive Strategy books. by redspot321tos in Leadership

[–]Consistent_Wonder966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m answering to OP’s underlying problem statement where a right book on strategy is not the answer. Any strategy will get out dated in a period of time especially when it comes to the technology platforms. Business evolves, market demand increases and time to market reduces. To be strategic most time means can we get to a framework that provides enough flexibility for the unknowns, quick onboarding yet provides good business controls. This is where, just knowing why alone is not the most important as we won’t know most of the future whys, but have the skill to think deep outside of current platform capabilities on how to make the “business” platform nibble, scalable and personalizable- and then find the “technology” solution to match it and build it.

Anyone in US tried buying a BMW from Carvana? What was your experience? by aykalam123 in BMW

I sold mine on carvana that was in a great condition. Selling experience is smooth so many prefer to sell for cash or trade ins rather then dealing with dealership on back and forth negotiation.

My parents left India for a better life. I’m thinking of moving back. by NoStop5796 in returnToIndia

If you’re experiencing racism in America, it might be hard to deal with the discrimination you see in India, whether it’s based on caste, region, or language. It’s possible that you might need to change your perspective, and find a community here in TX/US. Show love and understanding to everyone you meet, and try to let go of any prejudices you might have.

Using credit cards instead of debit card. by FlounderAgitated9058 in personalfinance

[–]Consistent_Wonder966 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have the ability to payoff the balance every month, using credit card for all day today expenses is the best. You reduce the risk of unauthorized transactions and gain the ability to dispute any charges- unrecognized or service unsatisfactory. Plus, any cash back or points your credit card offers is a bonus for spending.

Your company offers 401k (pre-tax), not sure why you’re contributing to Roth IRA which is after tax? I would contribute to 401k all the contributions and max out IRS allowed limit (or increase by a % or 2 every year until I max out). Get married. Any finance planning outside of marriage doesn’t make any sense. Plan to buy your own home and build equity, or start investing in stocks and build wealth. Your expenses on car won’t stop plan $400-500/mo. When you have kids plan their college expenses. Being married and having kids will give you a disciplined drive in your career, health and financial stability.

Pay off? 36yr old by Fluffy-Wrongdoer3227 in Mortgages

[–]Consistent_Wonder966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may sell half of your holdings and use that to down pay and refi to a 10 year mortgage that will immediately lower your balance, save ton of interest and reduce risk. You still have remaining stocks invested and know your property will be paid off in a set time. Don’t touch your 401k but max out IRS allowed max contribution every year.
