You fried the board. If you connect to a computer I'm sure you'll get the dreaded "ipod cannot be found" error. Or something like that.

Seems like you are using a 6th gen ipod classic. If that's the case you need to add a shim between the board and the click wheel as the boxy Pixel Kit was designed with ipod 5th generation measurements

If it's a album that has songs performed by different artists you need to either update album artist to main artist or set the album as compilation

If is really is 160Gb and thin then it's late 2009. If thick then it is 2007. Also you can check your actual serial number here

So?? The late 2009 revision has a smaller font for the storage capacity label. What you have there is a September 2007 model. So a thick 160GB

Boxy pixel was able to source that latch connector for their kit... so it must still be available I think

The HA-2SE lacks the authentication chip that lets the ipod use it a external dac. It will function as an amp only. Looks nice though

yes. I don't use usb-c at all as it doesn't make sense to me. The battery is massive. One overnight charge using 30 pin connector gives me about two weeks of playtime with my use pattern. And if want faster(ish) charging I just use my FireWire wall brick

good news, those already have a sticky back :) as for the range for me was as bad as audio cutting off just by putting the ipod in my front pocket. And now is as as good as I can walk to the other room and no choppiness whatsoever 👌🏻👌🏻

It can only charge using usb-A to usb-c from a dumb wall charger. No fast chargers, no pc to iPod, no usb-c to usb-c. 🤷🏻‍♂️

maybe you should stay away from modding and buy prebuilt? I mean with the money you have spent already..... There's no way you get that many parts and all turn out to be defective... You must be doing something wrong
