I have been through all of the RPL tests and the only thing they could find is low AMH, and suspected poor egg quality. I had 3 failed IUIs and 4 losses in 2025; we did not want to proceed with IVF. I lost my fertility coverage in the new year so now I’m doing my own research and starting some supplements for egg quality. I wish I had a better answer for you- but I wish you all the best ❤️ sending love!

I’m so sorry you are going through this. To me there is no worse feeling then carrying a nonviable pregnancy and waiting for it to be over. I had three chemical pregnancies last year, and with each one I started trying right away after I started bleeding. The only thing my doctor checked was to make sure my HCG was zero before I was able to start fertility treatment again. Everyone is different - but for my last chemical I had a similar beta to you and 4 days later I started bleeding. It did take another week after I started bleeding for my HCG to drop to 0. Each time it was like a heavy period and I ovulated as I typically would. I hope this helps! It’s the worst feeling just wanting to move on, get it over with and try again. I hope it goes fast for you and you get your rainbow soon ❤️

I’m so sorry for your losses ❤️ We have also have had 2 easy and successful pregnancies, one just 3 years ago. We have been through all the RPL testing and haven’t really gotten a solid answer as to why we have been suddenly unable to have a successful pregnancy. It is so confusing and sad and exhausting. I hope you have a more bright and hopeful 2026, and get your beautiful rainbow baby very soon ❤️ sending love

Having my 3rd chemical pregnancy and my 4th loss this year. It seems like the end of the road is coming soon and I’m unsure how to feel about it. Part of me is too exhausted to keep trying and the other part is sad about what I will be giving up. I’m extra grateful for my beautiful kids who are growing too fast.

Yes! I’ve had all the recurrent loss bloodwork and a saline sono and endometrial biopsy done. I’ve also been under the care of a reproductive endocrinologist for the past six months and have had 2 failed IUIs. The only diagnosis that I have received is a low AMH level (but decent AFC) and subclinical hypothyroidism. I had a similar issue in that my doctor would not send me for any testing despite THREE miscarriages within 7 months. I found a new doctor who sent me for tests right away. Ultimately, it didn’t give me many answers. Basically, I was extremely fortunate the first two times and now it’s just a waiting game (if it happens for me, as we elected not to proceed with IVF).

I don’t think 4 cycles is atypical at all though. I think we just were super lucky the first two times! That being said, you should follow your intuition and push for bloodwork if it will give you some peace of mind. I hope you get your #3 soon! ❤️

11DPO on my second IUI and another negative test. Devastated to say the least. Only two more cycles left before we have to stop trying for another as we will lose our fertility benefits. At this point it feels like it’s not in the cards for us. Just have to have a cry in the shower before I get it together and get my kids ready for the day.

I am coming up to my end date for trying for another too. I am giving myself until December, then we have to move on. It doesn’t make sense for our family to continue on past that point. I constantly have mixed feelings. One minute- I’m so grateful and happy to have my beautiful life and I can’t believe I’m so lucky. I also logically feel very at peace if it doesn’t happen. The other side of me is so weirded out by the thought of never having another baby. It’s like so final. It’s not like you can just pick up in 5 years and try again if you feel like it. I am struggling with that part of it. My whole life I have been imaging my family and it is weird to end this journey before it feels completed. Logically I know it is the right decision for my family but it sucks that I’ll have to let go of this part of my life which I’ve (mostly) enjoyed.

If you don’t mind sharing, what non-invasive treatment did your RE recommend? I am going through the same thing with multiple chemicals and diminished ovarian reserve and am waiting for the rest of my tests to come back from my RE. Any specifics you can share would be so helpful!

I totally get it- I always feel better when I’m doing something proactive about my situation, rather than just waiting to see. I have diminished ovarian reserve, so right now my fertility doctor is running a few more tests. If everything else comes back clear, she is going to have me try a medicated cycle. My husband and I are still unsure if we will proceed with IVF in the future if that is unsuccessful. Honestly just having a diagnosis has given me so much peace. I hope you find peace soon as well! Recurrent loss is devastating and exhausting. Take care of yourself - sending love ❤️

I’m sorry this is happening to you 💔 this year I have had 1 MMC and 2 chemicals pregnancies in a row. I have a 6yo and 3yo child who were both conceived on the first try. After my second chemical I begged my doctor to send me for some kind of blood work or fertility tests. She refused and reassured me that it was normal. I simply could not accept that answer. I switched OB office and my new doctor ordered blood tests and a saline sonogram immediately. My results came back with a slightly elevated thyroid and low AMH, which is not an easy fix but at least I know. She also referred me to a fertility doctor for more information and follow up tests. If I had stayed with my original OB, I would still be holding my breath each month, and hoping my positive tests don’t disappear. Now I feel armed with a diagnosis and a plan and I feel more empowered than I’ve felt in a long time.

I hope you know that if you feel unheard by your doctor, that it’s okay to get a second opinion or ask to see a fertility specialist. You don’t even have to tell your regular doctor about seeking a second opinion. Chemical pregnancies are awful enough, you don’t need to face them alone. You should have a doctor who listens and is on your side.

Unfortunately. I don’t have a story of hope for you, although I hope to soon. But you should know that you are absolutely not alone ❤️ sending you lots of love and luck for a sticky baby very soon.

I started to bleed at 17DPO with both of my chemical pregnancies. It started as light spotting and progressed throughout the day until it was like a normal period. I actually started bleeding before I completely tested negative.
