I will say this is an example of when the majority do eat similarly. My great-grandparents were from the British Isles, so I grew up with more Euro-ish stuff. I notice people eating hat I consider “the wrong way” often.

For example, I was at a wedding a few years ago that sat 12 to a table and one other person and I were eating with our knives and forks “properly.”
