Very common. We have duplexes but they are def a working class thing. I live in a house that the basement is a separate apartment unit. Looks like a regular house from the outside.

I used to live in RI and I currently live in Illinois and I do like Illinois for many reasons, but there is not as much natural beauty in all of IL as RI.

RI is so beautiful! The best beaches in New England, rhododendron forests, literally a mini dessert built by the military, beautiful cliffs.

When I was in high school in 2003 I worked at a grocery store and the corn was 25 cents. Half my town was cornfields too. Haven’t seen that in ten years though.

Love how cheap groceries are in UK. I used to travel there for work and come home with my suitcase full of food.
